What's the festival on July 7th?
Valentine's Day in China and Valentine's Day in China, also known as "Begging for Cleverness Festival", are the most romantic festivals in China. According to legend, the night of the seventh day of the seventh lunar month every year is the time when "Weaver Girl" and "Cowherd" meet in the sky. "Weaver Girl" is a beautiful, intelligent and ingenious fairy. That night, the secular woman begged her for wisdom and cleverness, and also prayed for a happy marriage. How to celebrate this festival has been celebrated by fewer and fewer people. In 1950s and 1960s, on this day, Chinatown was decorated like a fairyland. "Seven Sisters" from different regions gathered here and put all kinds of bright incense tables to offer sacrifices to the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. The incense table is wrapped in paper, which contains flowers, fruits, rouge powder, small paper flowers, clothes, shoes, daily necessities and embroidery. The "Seven Sisters Club" in different regions will practice their internal skills and compete with each other to see who does it beautifully. Nowadays, such activities have been forgotten, and only a few ancestral halls still set up incense tables to worship the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl on this festival. The incense table is usually prepared on the seventh day of July, and the Weaver Girl is invited to give directions at night. Because of the romantic origin of the festival, the Beggar's Fair should be developed into a "Valentine's Day" for China people, so that this day is full of warmth and sweetness of love, and people can express their appreciation and care for their loved ones. Qin Guan, the fairy son of Queqiao, is delicate and smart, and the flying stars pass on grievances, all the way. Autumn dew and the seventh day of autumn are the time to meet each other. Most of them are people who are together in the world, but they are husband and wife. Tenderness is like water, ritual is like a dream, and I can't bear to go back to Queqiao! If two people have been in love for a long time, are they still in their twilight years As far as night is concerned, Tanabata is as beautiful as the moon and night ... There is a beautiful and moving story behind Tanabata's nickname "Zhou". Legend has it that the cowherd and the weaver girl meet on July 7, so it is called. Wang Bo's Qixi Fu compares a week with the moon and the night, and points out the two most beautiful and bitter nights related to family and love in a year. Because of this, later generations call the auspicious day for men and women to get married a week. Legend has it that Cowherd's parents died young and were often abused by his brother and sister. Only an old cow accompanied him. One day, the old cow tricked him into marrying the weaver girl. On that day, the beautiful fairies went to the Milky Way to take a bath and play with water. Just then, the cowherd, who was hiding in the reeds, suddenly ran out and took the clothes of the Weaver Girl. The panicked fairies hurried ashore, dressed and flew away, leaving only the weaver girl. At Cowherd's request, Weaver Girl promised to be his wife. After marriage, Cowherd, Weaver Girl, Farmer and Weaver Girl love each other and live a very happy life. Weaver girl also gave birth to a son and a daughter to Cowherd. Later, when the old cow was dying, she told the cowherd to keep its skin and put it on for help in case of distress. After the old cow died, the couple reluctantly peeled off the cowhide and buried the cow on the hillside. When the marriage between the Weaver Girl and the Cowherd was known by the Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother, they flew into a rage and ordered the gods to take the Weaver Girl away from the underworld. The Cowherd God was not at home, so he took the Weaver Girl away. Cowherd didn't see Weaver when he came home, so he quickly put on cowhide and took two children to chase after him. Seeing that it is about to catch up, the heavenly queen is anxious. She pulled out the golden hairpin from her head and rowed to the Milky Way. The once shallow Milky Way suddenly became turbid, and the Cowherd could no longer pass. From then on, the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl can only face each other across the river and endure with tears until forever. The Jade Emperor and the Queen Mother are allowed to meet once a year on July 7th. According to legend, on the seventh day of July, human magpies will fly to the sky and meet the cowherd and the weaver girl on a magpie bridge in the Milky Way. Besides, in the dead of night on Tanabata, people can still hear the gentle love words of cowherd and weaver girl in the sky under the grape trellis or other fruit trellis. Tanabata Tanabata on July 7th is the legendary day when the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl crossed the Tianhe River from Queqiao. People think that the Weaver Girl is a hard-working, kind and ingenious fairy, so on the evening of July 7th, girls and young women will come out to offer sacrifices and seek advice from the Weaver Girl, hoping that they can live a happy life with dexterous hands and clever mind like the Weaver Girl. Because Valentine's Day in China is closely related to women's affairs, it is also called "Daughter's Day", which is a traditional women's day in China. China has the custom of eating smart dishes on Valentine's Day. Clever food includes fruits and various cakes, and customs vary from place to place. After all kinds of wonderful foods are prepared, they should be displayed on several cases in the yard, as if inviting the weaver girl in the sky to comment. Then everyone looked at the distant night sky and ate all kinds of smart food, thinking that it would make people smart. In the Han Dynasty, people began to ask the Weaver Girl for advice. Pray not only for ingenuity, but also for wealth, an early and sweet marriage and a child.
