On the premise of investigating the city Dazhai, the research object of this paper, this paper puts forward the "cultural space", that is, the intangible cultural heritage and intangible space that connect the old city of Dazhai. Through the study of the spatial form of Dazhai cultural city, the protection measures are put forward.

This paper is divided into five chapters, each chapter is as follows:

The first chapter, introduction, includes research background, purpose and significance, definition of related concepts, research status at home and abroad, basic content and innovation, research methods and framework.

The second chapter includes the general situation of the ancient city Dazhai: geographical location, natural environment, social economy and cultural background; The traditional features of the old city space include: the location, spatial pattern, historical and environmental factors of Dazhai; Including Dazhai's living conditions, development conditions, traditional elements: protection status and economic base.

The third chapter shows the content, characteristics and development status of intangible culture in Dazhai old town, covering four aspects: traditional festivals, traditional embroidery, traditional diet and traditional art.

The fourth chapter studies the material culture and intangible cultural space of Dazhai. Including the spatial form of primitive religion and Buddhism in the old city, this paper expounds the spatial form and performance of Dazhai culture.

The fifth chapter puts forward the measures of intangible culture from the perspective of Dazhai cultural space. Firstly, the protection principle of the protection work is stated, and the intangible cultural space of Dazhai in the ancient city is protected from four aspects: the spatial pattern of villages, Buddhist temples, stages, traditional festivals, places and routes, so as to protect the intangible cultural heritage of Dazhai.

The focus of this paper is to study the spatial pattern of the old town of Dazhai intangible cultural heritage, and take corresponding protection measures to protect the old town of Dazhai intangible cultural heritage from the perspective of spatial pattern.
