Songshan Shaolin Wushu Vocational College was approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government in 2004 and established by the Ministry of Education. The College was founded by China Wushu Jiu Duan and Mr. Liu Baoshan, an outstanding inheritor of China folk culture.

College is an ordinary university with outstanding national Wushu culture characteristics, a national Shaolin Wushu Chinese international promotion base, a talent training base for cultural reform and development in Henan Province, a heritage base for Chinese excellent traditional culture in Henan Province, a vocational education college with characteristics in Henan Province, and a demonstration school for running schools according to law in Henan Province.

The College is located in Dengfeng, an excellent tourist city in China and the capital of Kung Fu in the world, at the southern foot of Songshan Mountain, the holy mountain of China culture, and adjacent to 207 national highway, Zheng Shaoluo Expressway and Zheng Denggao Expressway, with convenient transportation, beautiful environment and rich cultural heritage.
