In the 13th year of the Kangxi period (1674), Sufi Gadiringye cleric Huazhe Abdu-Dong Lahi arrived at Guangzhou by sea, and later preached in the two lakes, Shaanxi, Gansu and other places, teaching the "Three Doors" disciples, laying the foundation for the spread of this school of thought in China. In the subsequent development, Gadiringye gradually formed branches in the northwest region, such as Daigongbei, Yangmen, Guogongbei, Jiucaiping, Lingmingtang, Wenquantang, Xiangyuantang, Qimen, Amen, Tonggui, etc. Since the introduction of Gadiringye to China, the school has been spreading in China. Since its introduction to China, Gadiringye has deepened its integration with traditional Chinese culture, making it distinctly different from other Sufi schools. Gadiringye's theories, thoughts and rituals have mutated due to the influence of traditional Chinese culture, especially Taoism and Zen thinking, and it has become a unique school among the Sufi schools of Islam in China, with its own unique cultural characteristics. And the doctrine, thoughts, rituals and cultural characteristics after the mutation are the products of the collision between Chinese traditional culture and Islamic culture.
