What is musicology and musical performance?

Musicology mainly studies music theory, and the courses basically include: music history, musicology theory, Chinese and foreign folk music, pedagogy, aesthetics, composition technology theory, piano or other musical instruments elective courses, etc. After graduation, I mainly engaged in music theory.

Music performance is mainly about learning performance skills, which requires high performance or singing skills. The emphasis of theoretical research is different from musicology. The main courses are: music theory, solfeggio, harmony, musical form analysis, introduction to art, piano or other musical instruments elective courses, etc. After graduation, I mainly engaged in stage performances.
