On September 2, 2005, the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Japanese War was grandly held, and some surviving Eighth Route Army veterans gathered in Beijing. It turned out that the comrades in the Shandong Military Region still remembered this hearty battle.

Many comrades-in-arms in those days, after the victory of the revolution, chose to hide their secrets, gain fame and fortune, and quietly return to their hometowns to farm. They didn't do it for fame, not for profit, just to make the villagers not be bullied and plundered by the invaders!
