The Myth Story of the Origin of Qin Opera

Western Shaanxi opera, namely "Shaanxi opera" and "Gansu tune", is also called Longxi Bangzi. Gansu folk rap originated in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Gansu is the birthplace of Qin, hence the name of West Qin Opera. By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, temple fairs were popular in Gansu and broadcast in Shaanxi and other places. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, western Shaanxi opera went south to Zhejiang and combined with local dialects to form Zhejiang Shao Opera. In the Qing Dynasty, Western Qin Opera was popular in Beijing for some time. Tsui Hark, a famous dramatist in Qing Dynasty, recorded in Volume 37 of Drama that "the Northern School of Shaanxi Opera originated in Gansu, and now the so-called Bangzi people refer to it. A kind of western Qin opera, namely Qin opera. The musical instruments used by Gai are mainly Huqin and Yueqin. A ruler is like a language.
