Taekwondo Training of Niu Jie's Niu Coach
Director Xu, who accompanied the author to Yandao Street Middle School, pointed to the coach who was leading the students' training, and said that it was coach Niu Jie, the head coach of the taekwondo training class in Yandao Street Middle School.
I have long heard of Niu Jie. It is said that he is proficient in Sanda and Taekwondo and has won many championships in national competitions. After retiring, he began to teach Taekwondo. In the teaching of Taekwondo, he combines the essence of Sanda with unique teaching methods, and has trained many provincial, municipal and even world-class champion students.
Under the recommendation of Director Xu, the author came to Niu Jie, who took the lead in saluting without losing his warrior demeanor. The author explained his purpose and hoped to interview him. Unexpectedly, Niu Jie politely refused the interview on the grounds that he was teaching and it was not convenient to leave.
In desperation, the author had to come to Director Xu's office to try to get more information about Niu Jie. Fortunately, Director Xu was very enthusiastic and talked a lot with the author, so that the author did not return empty-handed. During the conversation, the author learned that Taekwondo, as an Olympic event, is highly valued by the sports department and the education department. Many preferential policies have been given to this project, such as extra points for further studies and special enrollment, which directly promoted the upsurge of primary and secondary schools competing to offer taekwondo training courses. It is reported that many key middle schools in Chengdu have set up taekwondo training classes, and Yandaojie Middle School is one of the first middle schools to try to set up taekwondo training classes.
The introduction of Taekwondo training in Yandaojie Middle School began in 2008. At that time, the head coach was not Niu Jie, and his teaching method was not suitable for students, and the training effect was minimal. Later, under the recommendation of Chengdu Taekwondo Association, Niu Jie was able to enter Yandao Street Middle School as the head coach of Taekwondo, and was also the head coach of Shude Experimental Middle School, Jiaxiang Foreign Language School and Chengdu No.11 Middle School. At that time, Yandao Street Middle School was worried that Niu Jie's multiple jobs would affect the training effect, but he only accepted Niu Jie with a try mentality.
Later, we found that accepting coach Niu Jie was a wise decision. Director Xu said that coach Niu Jie himself is serious and practical, and his teaching is rigorous. He will formulate different teaching methods according to each student's situation, and the most recognized is the layered training method.
The so-called hierarchical training method is that students are divided into different classes according to their different taekwondo foundations, and students of the same grade are assigned to a class, thus ensuring that each student will not fall behind the teaching progress, and students of the same grade can learn and communicate better together.
If students with poor grades are trained together with students with strong grades, those students who start late and have weak skills will inevitably have difficulty in learning and feel inferior, and hierarchical training effectively puts an end to this situation.
For example, Director Xu said that a student named Zhang Yi had no foundation in Taekwondo before training with coach Niu Jie, but after a long period of training, he made remarkable progress, won the championship in the 20 12 Sichuan Taekwondo Championship and won the title of national first-class athlete. As we all know, parents in China value their children's academic performance most, so do schools. The so-called art and physics majors are only auxiliary courses, and the class hours have never exceeded the cultural classes.
Director Xu said: The conflict between arts and sports training and cultural classes has always existed, and so has Yandao Street Middle School. We hope that students will put more energy into cultural classes. Many art teachers will emphasize the importance of art and physical education, saying that the effect is not obvious without class hours.
So, how did Niu Jie deal with this problem? Director Xu said: Niu Jie has always respected the decision of the school and will not give extra classes to students casually. Instead, I will try my best to improve my teaching efficiency and teach students the essentials of Taekwondo in a fixed amount of class hours so that they can understand it.
Among all the middle schools offering taekwondo training courses in Chengdu, Yandaojie Middle School has a relatively small amount of taekwondo classes, but the students' grades are not bad, and they often win championship trophies in repeated competitions.
Speaking of the honor of the taekwondo training class in Yandao Street Middle School, Director Xu could not restrain his inner excitement and pride, and told the author the story of four students from Yandao Street Middle School competing in the national taekwondo competition for middle school students.
It was 20 10. Coach Niu Jie led four students to Hainan to participate in the national taekwondo finals for middle school students organized by the Ministry of Education and China Sports Association. As a result, three of the four students won the championship in their respective groups, and the other won the runner-up. What makes Yandao Street Middle School proud is that compared with the team size of hundreds of people in other schools, four students led by Niu Jie won the sixth place in the total score of the group.
Up to now, Niu Jie has trained no less than six national first-class athletes for Yandao Street Middle School, and countless athletes have won national championships.
According to the data, since he became a coach, Niu Jie has brought out more than 20 national champions, 18 national first-class athletes, more than 40 national second-class athletes and 100 provincial and municipal champions. There was a video on the Internet that was all the rage. Hu Qiliang, a Taekwondo student from Yandao Street Middle School, won the championship trophy with absolute advantage in the competition. Hu Qiliang is a student of Niu Jie's Taekwondo training class.
Coach Niu Jie puts etiquette first in training. Every student's taekwondo skills are improving, and their etiquette quality is also greatly improved.
Compared with the traditional martial arts in China, Taekwondo is very popular in primary and secondary schools. The reason is that compared with the traditional martial arts in China, the training of Taekwondo is more effective, and it also emphasizes the martial arts spirit that begins with ceremony and ends with ceremony. Respect for teachers has been integrated into the hearts of every taekwondo trainer.
Middle school students are rebellious and difficult to discipline, but the etiquette training of Taekwondo makes them deeply know how to respect their teachers. Niu Jie's Taekwondo students give us a different feeling from those who have never been exposed to Taekwondo, which is where our school and parents have always recognized Niu Jie's coach. It is reported that Niu Jie has a master in Chengdu. The author thought that he might learn more information from the master, so after many twists and turns, he found Niu Jie's master, Hu Guangwu, in a community in Chengdu.
To my surprise, Niu Jie's master is not a martial arts expert, but a famous calligrapher. It is understood that Hu Guangwu has the unique skill of turning calligraphy upside down. In his early years, he was praised as a strange man in the West Shu, but now he is recognized as the first person in China's calligraphy handstand, which is quite famous in China's calligraphy circle.
When talking about why Niu Jie worshipped a scholar as a teacher, Hu Guangwu said that although Niu Jie was good at Sanda and Taekwondo, he preferred China's calligraphy when he was quiet.
Since ancient times, Wushu and calligraphy have been closely related. China Wushu emphasizes the combination of rigidity and softness, and emphasizes the importance of internal strength by practicing one muscle and one skin outside. China's calligraphy also emphasizes vividness. The importance of both. If you don't use qi to exercise your strength, the routine you play will become a gesture of showing off your hands and dancing your legs. We can't defeat the enemy and win. Calligraphy, on the other hand, has no strength and charm if the calligrapher doesn't use a pen.
When he was a teacher, Niu Jie once told Hu Guangwu that calligraphy could calm him down, cultivate his sentiment in silence and rediscover himself. Moreover, the brushwork and strength of his calligraphy can also help him find the feeling of practicing martial arts and explore the double true meaning of calligraphy and martial arts in silence. Wushu needs the form of calligraphy, and calligraphy needs the strength of Wushu. Only by reaching the realm of mutual transformation can we enter the realm.
