The start time and end time of Zigong Lantern Festival

Zigong Lantern Festival is open from June 65438+1October 65438+July to March 365438+1October 2023. Zigong, the "Southern Lights Capital", held its first lantern festival since the founding of New China in 1964. By 2023, Zigong has successfully held 36 local lantern festivals, including 7 "Zigong Spring Festival Lantern Festival" and 29 "Zigong International Dinosaur Lantern Festival". Zigong Lantern Festival has been exhibited in more than 500 large and medium-sized cities and many countries and regions in China, with a cumulative audience of more than 400 million people. Zigong Lantern Festival has changed from a folk activity to an annual festival of the government. Zigong Lantern Festival has developed the traditional folk custom of enjoying lanterns in the New Year into a festival cultural activity with strong regional characteristics, which was identified by Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China as one of the series activities of "Perceiving China".
