China Pavilion contains China elements.
China's belongs to the world.
"From beginning to end, the design of the China National Pavilion has a principle, that is, people will know from a distance that this building must belong to China." In the designer's view, only China's is the world's, which is the biggest highlight of China Pavilion.
Today, this concept has become a beautiful "China Red". The reporter boarded the 60.6-meter-high roof sightseeing floor of China National Pavilion, which will be the commanding height of the whole Expo Park in the future. Close-up, one axis and four pavilions, Sunshine Valley, and the roof garden under construction in the regional pavilion have a panoramic view; From a distance, Shanghai landmarks such as Lupu Bridge and Oriental Pearl can be seen in a glance.
Standing at this height, the aggregated "China element" is even more noticeable. At present, China Pavilion consists of National Pavilion, Regional Pavilion, Hong Kong Pavilion and Macau Pavilion. The spatial position and orientation of the national pavilion and the regional pavilion respectively reflect the understanding of the relationship between "heaven" and "earth" in eastern philosophy. The National Pavilion is a "sky", and the sculpture subject "the crown of the East" stands tall, forming an open and towering trend; The regional pavilion is the "ground", which extends below the national pavilion like a pedestal, forming a solid supporting state.
The national pavilion stands in the middle, shaped like a crown; Overlap and pick, as a quasi-bucket arch. The nine meridians and nine latitudes in "The Craftsman Ruling the Country" became the cultural foundation of the roof platform building of the National Pavilion. In the traditional architecture, the structure mode of bucket arch tenon and mortise interspersed layer by layer and protruding layer by layer has become the cultural expression of the architectural form of the National Pavilion. Looking from the other side of Huangpu River, its momentum is as powerful as a city wall; Seen from the Expo axis, its shape is as high as the balcony. If you go down the river and the canoe approaches, you can see that the National Pavilion stands on the bank of Pujiang with the modern architecture in Lujiazui, Pudong as the background.
The regional pavilion lying flat under the national pavilion is skillfully connected with the surrounding environment through steps or garden sketches; The exterior of the building is also engraved with ancient overlapping seal characters, hanging on the facade of the outermost corridor of the base, printing the names of Chinese historical dynasties, symbolizing the long history and culture of China; On the other hand, the surface of the sketch set for leisure in the circular corridor is engraved with the names of various provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China, symbolizing the unity and enterprising of China with a vast territory and rich resources.
What's the mystery of "hanging in a coat"
The China National Pavilion, which is shaped like the "Crown of the East", has now covered nearly half of its area, and the iconic "China Red" is even more noticeable.
The red color of China National Pavilion is not painted with paint, but is composed of more than 5,000 red wooden boards. The exterior wall of the entire National Pavilion also includes 65,438+0,232 pieces of glass. Starting from the height of 33.3 meters, the China National Pavilion is cantilevered layer by layer, showing the shape of an arch bucket. Red plates made of aluminum plates and mineral wool, each weighing about 44 kilograms; Three-layer laminated insulating glass, 4m long and 1.35m wide, is half the length of a red plate, and each piece weighs 390kg. It should be placed obliquely on the facade with an camber angle of 135 degrees ... The difficult "dressing project" is in full swing, but no scaffolding can be seen on site.
What is the mystery of "hanging in a coat"? "This kind of parallel mobile electric car that can work in the air has helped a lot!" Yan Qiayu, on-site technical director of the fourth construction project department of Shanghai Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., said that with this "new weapon", construction workers can reach the appropriate job site and carry out lifting and installation of plates without scaffolding.
It is estimated that by August this year, about 68,000 square meters of internal and external walls and the "coats" of four columns of the National Pavilion can be installed. At the same time, the rest of the national pavilion has been put in place. It is estimated that by the end of September, the entire exhibition area of China Pavilion will be officially handed over, entering the exhibition stage, officially completed by the end of the year, and unveiled to the world.
Searching for "China Wisdom"
The Shanghai World Expo will show the world "Better City, Better Life". What kind of "unique skills" will the China Pavilion offer to Chinese and foreign tourists? "China Wisdom in Urban Development"-This is the mysterious veil to be unveiled in China Pavilion on May 1 next year.
At present, the exhibition deepening plan of China Pavilion has been basically determined, which is in harmony with "Inner Red". The exhibition of China National Pavilion also has a clear "Chinese style" thinking, that is, China is also in the process of rapid urbanization, but China will not be as worried as some overseas institutions, because of its large population and rapid demand growth, which will occupy more and more resources. On the contrary, China's long and profound historical tradition has enough wisdom to guide contemporary China out of a road of scientific development with harmony as the core concept.
The whole exhibition of China Pavilion will be a trip to find "China wisdom" and a trip to feel the true meaning of wisdom. For example, ancient China paid attention to "Tao" and "harmony", and paid attention to the coordination of various relations, especially the harmony with nature, which is very valuable for contemporary coping with climate, environment and energy crisis. Similarly, China has the greatest demand, motivation and strength to develop and apply environmental protection technologies and new energy products, thus making greater contributions to the future world. These ideas will be displayed in the exhibition hall on the third floor of China National Pavilion.
