Stick to traditional virtues
Throughout the ages, there are many stories about traditional virtues. As the saying goes, Zhu Dexiao comes first. If a person can't even be filial, what virtue does he have? Luz was a native of Lu, a disciple of Confucius at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period.
However, when Luz was young, his family was very poor, and he lived by eating coarse grains and wild vegetables for many years. Once, my elderly parents wanted to eat rice, but there was no rice at home. What should I do? Lutz thought, if he climbed several mountains and borrowed some rice from relatives, wouldn't he be able to meet his parents' requirements? As a result, Xiaozi walked more than ten miles across the mountains and returned a small bag of rice from his relatives' home. Seeing that his parents ate delicious rice, Luz forgot his fatigue. The neighbors all praised Luz as a brave and filial child.
However, many people do not abide by traditional virtues. There is a story about a couple who run a hotel. Business based on honesty is very prosperous. People all praise this hotel for its high quality and low price. One day, however, the husband went out, only his wife was at home, and a person came to buy wine. Unexpectedly, she mixed water into the wine and sold it for 5 yuan more. In the evening, the husband came back and said to his wife angrily, "I am desperate." Sure enough, from then on, their restaurant was no longer prosperous, and his wife was seriously ill. On her deathbed, the wife said to her husband in tears, "I understand that the most important thing for a businessman is his reputation." Without this business, he will definitely go bankrupt. " As the saying goes, you can't hide from the fifteenth day of the first month. Only civilized and trustworthy businessmen will be called good businessmen by the people. As long as you handle a detail and a small matter with your heart, you will certainly handle it well.
If people abide by traditional virtues, there will be no littering, no one will be stolen, no one will cheat, and there will be no Chinese signs in foreign countries to remind China people.
It is very important for a person to have good moral character. If you compare a person to a flower, virtue is sweet water. Without water, flowers cannot bloom beautifully. If people are compared to an eagle, virtue is wings, and an eagle without wings can't fly into the vast blue sky; If people are compared to fish, virtue is the sea. With the ocean, fish have life.
Traditional virtue is the precious wealth of the Chinese nation, as well as each of us, and it is an indispensable spiritual food. Therefore, everyone should stick to traditional virtues, reduce the occurrence of uncivilized things, and let traditional virtues fill our lives all the time.
