The development history of Chinese journalists

The predecessor of "China Reporter" was "Workers, Peasants and Soldiers Newsletter", which was founded in Ruijin, Jiangxi in 1933. It was a business publication of the Red China News Agency (the predecessor of Xinhua News Agency). After the Red Army's Long March to Yan'an, it was changed to "Newsletter".

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, "News Business" was officially founded and launched to the public in 1956.

In the new era of reform and opening up, Xinhua News Agency merged its three nationwide business publications ("News Business", "News Photography", "News News") into one based on "News Business" and founded "China

Reporter", officially published in January 1987.
