Is Hanfu retro or innovative?

Hanfu is neither innovative nor retro.

First of all, Hanfu has specific forms, which are also recorded in historical materials, so it is not innovation.

Secondly, Hanfu can't be said to be retro, not only because Hanfu can't completely reproduce the ancient shapes, but also because there are designs in Hanfu now.

Finally, Hanfu is not a two-pronged approach. Hanfu can't be called innovation and retro at all. The revival of Hanfu is a way to love traditional culture. Although this revival movement is somewhat maverick or seems to go back to ancient times, it actually belongs to a belief of a group of people who love traditional culture and IT.
