Interpretation of five major ethics
1, the relationship between monarch and minister. In ancient society, the relationship between monarch and minister was based on respect and loyalty. A monarch refers to an emperor or a superior official, and a minister refers to a subordinate official or a common people. In this relationship, the king should be kind, generous and wise, while the courtiers should be loyal, obedient and conscientious.
2. Father-son relationship. The relationship between father and son is one of the most basic blood relations of human beings and one of the most important ethical relations in traditional culture. In the father-son relationship, the father should be kind, caring and teaching to his son, and the son should be filial, respectful and learning. This relationship still exists in modern society, such as the relationship between parents and children, and the relationship between tutors and students.
3. Husband and wife relationship. The relationship between husband and wife refers to the relationship between husband and wife. In traditional society, the relationship between husband and wife is based on love and family. Husband and wife should respect each other, trust each other, support each other and share family responsibilities. In modern society, the relationship between husband and wife also exists between lovers and between husband and wife.
4. Brotherhood. Brotherhood refers to the relationship between brothers and sisters. In traditional society, brothers and sisters should care for each other, help each other, trust each other, and maintain family harmony and prosperity. In modern society, the relationship between brothers and sisters still exists, but it may also be alienated because of their respective lives and jobs.
5. Friendship. Friendship refers to the friendship between people. In traditional society, friends should respect, trust and support each other and share happiness and sadness. In modern society, friendship also exists among classmates, colleagues and like-minded people.
Five-related knowledge
1, five ethics, that is, five ethics. It is the ancient people's summary of the basic ethical relationship between people. According to legend, a long time ago, the ancients realized that there were differences in gender, age, race, psychology and intelligence between people, so the relationship between people was different from today's equal relationship, but a complex relationship of interdependence and mutual restriction.

In order to deal with this kind of relationship, the ancients classified the relationship between people into five basic types according to their life experience, namely, father-son relationship, husband-wife relationship, brother relationship, monarch-minister relationship and friend relationship, which are collectively called "five ethics".
3. The formation of the concept of five ethics has a long history. There is a record of "pro-nine families" in Shangshu Yaodian, and there is even a record of "wives getting along well, such as playing the drums and playing the piano" in the Book of Songs. Both brothers are dying people, Yue and Zhan. In ancient society, the concept of five ethics is of great significance to maintaining social order.
