Can Muslims celebrate Christmas or not?

Muslims are not allowed to celebrate Christmas. Christmas is a Christian holiday and has nothing to do with Muslims. Moreover, the Christian church has many colorful worship services for "our Lord Jesus", such as bowing, kneeling, holding hands, music, singing, and accepting the Eucharist (wine and bread representing Jesus' blood and flesh), which belong to the great sin and (illegal) behavior of being a partner in Islamic law.

The sage Muhammad said that imitating other religions will make you a person of other religions, which is tantamount to violating Islamic beliefs. So Muslims don't celebrate Christmas or celebrate it.

Extended data:

As the largest Muslim country in the world, Indonesia also has about 10% Christians. The Indonesian Islamic Scholars Council (MUI), the highest Islamic organization in Indonesia, has issued fatwa banning Christmas dress. Muslims are forbidden to wear Christmas clothes and decorations, but they are not forbidden to say Merry Christmas.

Mei also demanded that any Christmas celebration should be low-key, such as not displaying Christmas cakes in shops and reducing Christmas decorations in shopping malls, so as not to disturb the feelings of most Indonesians.

Some conservative Muslims think that Merry Christmas should not be said, because it shows the recognition of Christianity. Because Christmas is the day to commemorate the birth of Jesus, and Islam believes that God is childless.
