In order to change this situation, it is urgent to speed up the development of architectural education to meet the demand for architectural talents in the production line.

From the social development trend, the progress of science and technology and the emergence of knowledge economy will make great changes in the scientific and technological level, production technology and means of construction industry. Especially after joining WTO, China is facing an era of economic globalization, information internationalization, knowledge industrialization and lifelong learning. The great changes in the production technology and means of the construction industry force us to speed up the development of higher vocational and technical education to meet the needs of the development of the times and the construction industry itself.

From the perspective of education itself, higher vocational education is a new form of education after China's economic and social development has reached a certain stage. Cultivate high-tech applied talents in the front line of production. However, at present, due to the late start of higher vocational education, the talent training scale of construction engineering management specialty can not meet the needs of the construction industry.

Second, the analysis of social needs of graduates

The Twelfth Five-Year Plan for the Development of Construction Industry in Sichuan Province puts forward the specific development goals of Sichuan's construction industry: the total output value of the construction industry in 20xx exceeds 800 billion yuan, the added value of the construction industry exceeds 260 billion yuan, and the number of employees in the whole society reaches 5 million.

With the rapid development of the construction industry, the shortage of construction professionals has become increasingly prominent. At present, there are very few professional graduates in the production line of Sichuan construction enterprises, and some of them are even uneasy about producing first-line jobs. In addition, in underdeveloped areas, brain drain and brain drain are quite serious, so it is difficult for construction enterprises to keep undergraduates in the production line. At the same time, because undergraduate is a kind of general higher education that pays more attention to theoretical teaching, too many theories are useless in the construction site, and the weak practical ability makes construction enterprises feel that undergraduates are extremely inconvenient to use. Higher vocational graduates have enough theoretical knowledge, which is better than secondary school students; Practical experience and practical ability are better than undergraduates, and they can take up their posts immediately after taking up their posts. In addition, they can work in the front line with peace of mind, fully adapt to the working environment and content requirements of the construction site, and do not affect the qualification evaluation of enterprises. In terms of levels and categories, they are all the most ideal students.

According to the survey and statistics of the job market (multiple choice), the demand of all levels of education is: graduate students 10%, undergraduate students 42%, junior college students 34%, vocational college students 39% and technical secondary school students 3%. Besides undergraduates, the demand for higher vocational graduates ranks second. However, there are not many schools that train middle-level management and technical talents in construction enterprises, and there are even fewer schools that have the ability to train higher vocational graduates suitable for front-line work. Due to the shortage of graduates, many construction enterprises have to use undergraduates or degraded technical secondary school graduates as front-line technical and management work. Faced with the rapid technological progress in the construction industry, technical secondary school graduates are obviously struggling with new materials, new processes and new machines, and it is difficult to learn by themselves, and their development potential is insufficient, so they have to go back to school to study adult junior college courses.

Therefore, the employment prospects of higher vocational graduates of this major are promising.

Third, the investigation of training objectives

According to the survey, in the construction industry, almost all construction companies attach great importance to work ability, followed by work experience, and then education. According to the investigation and analysis of a number of enterprises, we have established the training objectives of architectural engineering construction specialty:

1, good ideological and political quality, legal awareness, good professional ethics, professionalism and cooperation ability, with a certain cultural foundation, foreign language and computer application knowledge;

2. Have good physical fitness, strong professional knowledge, technical business ability and innovation ability;

3. Have a solid knowledge of mapping, surveying, building materials, construction technology, construction organization and management, project budget and contract management.

5. Be able to understand the construction drawings of building projects;

6. Understand the construction technology, master the construction technology, quality standards and safety requirements, and have the ability to organize construction.

Fourth, summary and analysis.

With the implementation of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan of China, the state will encourage the development of the real estate industry, especially the reform of the employee housing system, which will further promote the development of the real estate industry. In recent years, the state has formulated a macro-financial policy to increase infrastructure construction, with the aim of promoting the development of other related industries by increasing investment in infrastructure. Facts have proved that this leading role will undoubtedly increase the demand for construction engineering management professionals.

At present, the national construction market urgently needs a professional construction project management team who knows technology, management and operation. However, due to the over-specialization and discipline of ordinary higher architectural education talents, there is a gap in higher architectural vocational education in the society at present, and the level of secondary vocational education is low. Therefore, there is an increasing shortage of applied and compound senior architectural talents with professional knowledge, management knowledge, economic knowledge, legal knowledge and computer knowledge. In developed countries, the proportion of students in higher vocational colleges in the whole higher education mostly reaches 20%~50%, while in China it is less than 10%, so there is great room for development.

The demand for civil construction talents in our province will further increase. This puts forward new and higher requirements for our teaching reform.

The above survey results are only local data of Sichuan, which is conservative compared with the more developed areas in eastern China. With the increase of national investment in infrastructure, the demand for construction engineering management talents in Sichuan will further increase. However, the demand for talents will not be limited to traditional housing construction projects, but applied talents with comprehensive construction project management knowledge. This puts forward new and higher requirements for our teaching reform.

To sum up, in the next decade, architecture will also develop faster and faster, and the demand for architectural engineering talents will gradually shift to high-skilled practical talents trained in higher vocational colleges. The teaching of this major plays a direct role in promoting social progress and economic development.
