The process of processing cotton into cloth

Cotton is turned into thread and cloth by spinning.

First, roll the cotton into a finger-thick strip, shake the spinning wheel with your right hand on the hand-cranked spinning wheel, and hold the cotton sliver with your left hand. The small end of the sliver is twisted into a thread and hung on the spinning wheel.

When the spinning wheel rotates, the spinning wheel pulls up the thread and rotates on the turntable, and the left hand swings the sliver with the spinning wheel, so that the cotton on the sliver is continuously pulled into yarn and wound on the spinning wheel, and the spun cotton yarn passes through the loom and interweaves vertically and horizontally into cloth.
