Is Luo Shen Fu prose?
Luoshen Fu is prose. In the fourth year of Huangchu (223), when Cao Zhi returned to his fiefdom after his pilgrimage to the capital, he passed through the Luoshui River and wrote a poem about his feelings for the legendary god of Luoshui, Mi Fei. The poem was written on the subject of Mi Fei, the legendary god of the Luo River, and the author's admiration for her and his despair at not being able to communicate with her due to his separation from the human and divine paths. The author's preface reads, "I felt Song Yu's words to the king of Chu about the goddess, so I made this assignment.
This fugue indeed inherited the tradition of Song Yu's "Goddess Fugue", using clever similes, beautiful words, portraying a beautiful and sentimental woman's distinctive image, but in fact it is a set forth the heart of a far-away expression of feelings and aspirations of the work.
Background
According to the Three Kingdoms Records - Wei Shu - Chen Si Wang Biography, after Cao Pi took the throne, Cao Zhi was highly suspicious. Cao Zhi's family is often a year and three migrant clans. And to the capital, Cao Zhi "every want to seek a separate meeting alone, discussing current affairs, fortunately Ji trial, and ultimately can not get. Both return, despair and despair". Therefore, the purpose of this gift is to inherit the tradition of Qu Sao's beauty and vanilla as a metaphor for the gentleman, and to send the word Mi Fei to send the heart of Emperor Wen.
So the Qing Ding Yan pointed out: "the preface" Ming Yun proposed Song Yu "Goddess" for Fu, send the heart of the king, entrusted to the Mi Fei, "Luoshen" is like the Qu, Song's aspirations also". It is an outstanding lyrical work created with the technique of picaresque, and has been recited throughout the ages. In Jin, Wang Xianzhi wrote for it and Gu Kaizhi painted for it, which had a great influence. In the Southern Song Dynasty and the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, some playwrights put the content of the Luoshen Fu on the stage, Wang Daokun, "Chen Si Wang sadly born in Luoshui," that is, one of the famous.
