Results: 27 cases were cured, 3 cases were transferred to other medicines due to local secondary infection into prickly heat.

Pharmacological effects Mainly antispasmodic, analgesic, antiemetic, enhance cellular immune function, antibacterial and other effects.

1. Antispasmodic: Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Wan (water) on the rabbit isolated duodenum has obvious inhibitory effect, and can fight against cholagogues caused by intestinal spasm; cholagogues caused by dogs and rabbits in vivo intestinal spasm has obvious inhibitory effect. It can counteract the intestinal spasm induced by salicylic acid lentinanine, and its effect is similar to that of atropine on intestinal spasm. The spontaneous activity of isolated intestinal smooth muscle has an inhibitory effect, and can counteract the intestinal spasm caused by barium chloride, so there is still a direct inhibitory effect on intestinal smooth muscle. Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Shui has good antispasmodic effect on the automatic contraction of isolated guinea pig and rabbit duodenum and on the ileal contraction caused by histamine, acetylcholine and barium chloride; and it can antagonize the uterine contraction induced by posterior pituitary hormone in mice. Huo Xiang Zheng Qi capsule also has obvious antispasmodic effect, the concentration of 8.55xl0-4g/ml, the isolated rabbit intestinal normal inhibition rate of 73.8%, and can inhibit acetylcholine, barium chloride-induced intestinal spasm in rabbits, and the inhibition rate of 61.0%, 68.3%, respectively. The low concentration of Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Wan had a bidirectional regulating effect on the motility of isolated rabbit small intestines, while the high concentration showed a complete inhibition and antagonized acetylcholine.

2. Analgesic: Huo Xiang Zheng Qi water has obvious analgesic effect on acetic acid stimulated pain reaction (twisting method). Huo Xiang Zheng Qi capsule has antagonistic effect on the analgesia of antimony potassium tartrate; on the pain caused by the hot plate method, the pain threshold is increased by 10% in 90 minutes.

3. Gastrointestinal peristalsis propulsive effect: patchouli Zhengqi water and capsule solution on the mouse gastrointestinal tract conveyor function has a significant effect on the administration of the group propulsive rate is slower than that of the control group, suggesting that there is an inhibitory effect on the in vivo gastrointestinal tract smooth muscle peristalsis.

4. Antiemetic: 11.4% patchouli capsule solution 20ml/kg to domestic pigeons, 5 minutes after each domestic pigeon into the 1.5% copper sulfate solution 20ml/kg, its vomiting latency and vomiting number of comparisons with the control group, there is a significant difference between, indicating that the drug not only does not vomit, but also has the effect of antiemetic.

5. Enhancement of cellular immune function: with magnesium sulfate to diarrhea styled mice, treated with patchouli Zhengqi Pill, its peripheral blood lymphocyte infiltration 3H-TdR index increased, while the control group is lower than the normal group (does not lead to diarrhea), and the administration of the group is close to the level of the normal group. It was revealed that Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Wan could improve the immune function of mice and promote the repair of damaged intestinal segments.

6. Increase the absorption function of gastrointestinal tract: After the mice with diarrhea styling were treated with Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Pill, the absorption of glucose and water in their blood and liver tissues was increased, so that the animals could restore the absorption function of gastrointestinal tract for sugar after stopping diarrhea.

7. Antibacterial: Huo Xiang Zheng Qi Shui has antibacterial effect on Garcinia cambogia and other 8 kinds of bacteria, especially on Garcinia cambogia and Staphylococcus aureus. And it has strong inhibitory effect on A, B paratyphoid bacillus, red trichophyton, gypsum-like trichophyton, flocculent epidermis, cerebral trichophyton, gypsum-like microsporidium, Candida albicans, Cryptococcus neoformans, and dermatitis bacterium.

Toxicity test Acute toxicity: healthy mice were dosed with 53.2% patchouli capsule solution 25 ml/kg (equivalent to 583 times the human dosage) twice a day, observed for 7 days, the animals' activities were normal, and none of them died.
