On the evening of September 26th, the awarding ceremony of the China Volleyball League and the launching ceremony of the 20 16-20 17 China Volleyball Super League were held in Beijing. While reviewing last season and awarding prizes, with the release of the new name and logo, the China Volleyball Super League officially set sail.

20 16-20 17 season is the first season of volleyball league reform in China. The organizing committee has brought a brand-new season to the national audience through a series of reform measures, such as increasing the prize money, introducing the Hawkeye system and restarting the All-Star Game.

As the main body of the league, a number of excellent clubs, coaches and athletes have also been commended. At the ceremony, many awards such as the best division were awarded, and more than ten coaches and players won awards. Among them, Jiangchuan, the main player of Beiqi Men's Volleyball Team, and Zhang Changning, a famous female volleyball player of Jiangsu Zhongtian Iron and Steel Company, were elected MVP respectively, while Shen Qiong, coach of SAIC Men's Volleyball Team, and Cai Bin, coach of Jiangsu Women's Volleyball Team won the best coach.

Just as the theme of the grand ceremony is "Beyond the Future", the China Volleyball Association, the Volleyball Center of the General Administration and the Volleyball Window, the operator of the volleyball league, will jointly create a brand-new future for China volleyball. At the same time, China Volleyball League was renamed as "China Volleyball Super League" and a brand-new LOGO was launched.

Lang Ping, head coach of China Women's Volleyball Team, attended the ceremony and presented the MVP award as a guest.
