Registration conditions for the national intellectual property agent qualification examination

China citizens who support the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and meet the following conditions may sign up for the national intellectual property agent qualification examination.

registration requirement

18 years old, with full capacity for civil conduct; University major in science and engineering or equivalent; Familiar with patent law and related legal knowledge; Engaged in scientific and technical work or legal work for more than two years.

Academic certification

Applicants for graduation certificates and degree certificates from Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan Province Province or foreign institutions of higher learning must be certified by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education. Those who meet the requirements of applying for graduation certificate and degree certificate can sign up for the exam.

Master students and doctoral students

Those who have studied for a master's degree in science and engineering in institutions of higher learning for 1 year, and those who have studied for a doctorate in science and engineering in institutions of higher learning shall be deemed to have been engaged in scientific and technological work for more than 2 years.
