What can we do for traditional culture?
Dan Jixiang has made many improvements for the reform of the Forbidden City, the most important of which is the following measures.
Initiative 1: End-door management, open the ticket window.
In the past, the Duanmen Square in the Forbidden City used to be rented, and the relevant departments held many exhibitions with low style, such as eunuch exhibition, maid-in-waiting exhibition, Wu Zetian exhibition, torture device exhibition, etc ... 20 yuan for a ticket, and everyone who saw it cursed the Forbidden City. Dan Jixiang was wronged because they saw the "Fake Palace Museum Exhibition". Dan Jixiang manages Duanmen Square in a unified way and redecorates it. The entrance is completely new, and it can also be used for the audience to have a rest.
Buying tickets in the Forbidden City is a nightmare for many people. First, you have to wait in line for more than an hour, and then you have to go through security inspection, ticket inspection and bag storage. Most of their physical strength was consumed, and the mood for visiting was gone. Therefore, Dan Jixiang has opened 32 ticket sales windows to ensure that the audience can buy tickets within 3 minutes, but no later than 15 minutes. This makes the Forbidden City the museum with the largest ticket window in the world.
Step 2: Buy a chair.
In the past, there were no seats for people to rest in the Forbidden City. When the audience was tired, they had to sit on the railing of the imperial garden. Dan Jixiang has produced 1400 chairs, each of which costs 3500 yuan, all made of solid wood. Dan Jixiang should let the audience see clearly and see with satisfaction.
Initiative 3: Install headlights.
The Forbidden City is a wooden structure. In order to prevent fire, I am afraid of electricity for many years, and it is dark in broad daylight. So tourists always curl up in front of the door and look at the glass when visiting the first three halls and the last three palaces. Especially in winter, they should breathe in front of the window first, and then wipe it with their hands. It used to be so dark in the Hall of Supreme Harmony that they couldn't see the details at all. "This is not a museum!" Dan Jixiang was very sad. After three years of research, he finally introduced the cold light source and heat-free LED lamp, and the Forbidden City was lit for the first time.
Initiative 4: Promote the Forbidden City
Without the popularity around the Forbidden City, "I am repairing cultural relics in the Forbidden City" and the watch of the bodyguard emperor, the Forbidden City undoubtedly entered people's field of vision more clearly.
For a long time, traditional culture should be in museums, textbooks and various mysterious "high-end" places, which is one of the reasons why traditional culture is drifting away from us. In Dan Jixiang's view, it doesn't matter how many pieces and how big they are. What matters is whether the audience can see them. It must be said that this has brought us thinking, and perhaps we can better understand their value after our own experience.
