The name of the festival about dragons
Every year, the second day of the second lunar month is called the day when dragons look up. Also known as Spring Farming Festival, Farming Festival and Spring Dragon Festival, it is a traditional folk festival in China. In farming culture, the dragon looks up to show that the sun is shining, the rain is increasing, everything is full of vitality, and spring ploughing begins. Since ancient times, people have also regarded the Dragon Rise Day as a day to pray for good weather, ward off evil spirits and eliminate disasters, and accept good luck. In ancient times, some areas in northern China had the customs of hoarding grain, attracting Tian Long, knocking on beams, cutting hair, frying braised pork, eating pig's head, noodles, jiaozi, candied beans, pancakes, and avoiding needlework on February 2nd.
