Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival has been a habit of China people for more than two thousand years. The origin of the Dragon Boat Festival is the most popular saying in memory of Qu Yuan. Speaking of Dragon Boat Festival, the most common custom is to eat zongzi. Although there are many kinds of zongzi in the shop, I still like the zongzi wrapped at home. Two days before the Dragon Boat Festival, my mother would buy dumplings and wrap jiaozi in water, and then prepare the raw materials for wrapping jiaozi: glutinous rice, meat, red bean paste, red dates and so on.

Next, my grandmother and I make zongzi together. Every time, grandma will choose two or three leaves, hold one end of the leaf with her left hand, hold the other end of the leaf with her right hand and gently roll it into a cone. After rolling, I put the prepared raw materials in, and finally tied the zongzi with cotton thread, and a decent four-corner zongzi "baby" was born.

On this day, people will also insert mugwort leaves and race dragon boats. Dragon Boat Festival is really a festival full of magic, joy and excitement.
