What does ancient Guangxi mean?

Ancient Yimeng in Guangxi, also known as "ancient Yimeng", is a traditional custom of Zhuang nationality, which is usually held from the first to the fifteenth day of the New Year's Day. Meng Meng is a small drum made of bamboo, beating and marching in the streets of the town. Mongolian people are composed of young men and women. They are wearing colorful clothes and garlands, playing music and singing in the procession, which is very lively.

The traditional meaning of being covered is to bring good luck and blessings to family members, but also to drive away evil spirits. Mongolians knock on bamboo drums, enter a house, perform a blessing dance and decorate the door with red cloth. Then, the old people will give them cigarettes, candy and other gifts to show their gratitude.

Although there is no such strong blessing in modern society, its position in traditional culture is still irreplaceable. It is a part of the national life of Zhuang nationality and represents a traditional way of socializing, entertaining and celebrating.

Love of Mongolia in ancient Guangxi is a traditional festival with rich cultural connotation, which represents a traditional custom and unique cultural symbol of Zhuang nationality. We should inherit and protect this ancient culture, and let it be handed down from generation to generation and become a glorious part of China's traditional culture.
