What is circle culture?

"Circle" is a generalization of a specific social group that naturally arises in the context of social stratification and is relatively middle- and high-class. It can be a broad class with the same social attributes, or it can be a group with strong social ties and similar social attributes within a region.

Circle stratification is an inevitable feature of social development, which will produce a clear division of multiple classes, but also the organic integration of the same class, the same type of people with similar life style, artistic taste, it is natural to produce more contact.

The first manifestation of this circling and circling movement can be said to be the "cultural salons" in modern Europe, which, as a kind of social circling, are more stable than today's marketing "circling".

Expanded Information

There are several other specific manifestations of the circle effect:

First, within each circle, there are unique values. The nature of circles is that a group of people with similar preferences get together, so each circle, will have its own unique culture and its own unique values.

People outside the circle may not be able to understand this value, but people inside the circle are used to it. For example, people in the "celebrity fan circle" feel that it's perfectly normal for them to be on the list for their favorite celebrities. For example, people in the "fishing circle" might like to catch a big fish, take a picture of it, and then throw it back into the sea.

Second, there is often a clear "label preference" on the outside of the circle.

If values are the inner expression of a circle, labels are its outer expression.

One small circle is actually a different label. When people in different circles evaluate each other, the first thing they look at is the label.

For example, "artistic youth" is a label that defines those who think they are artistic. Recall how many restaurants nowadays have to tell you that the place is "artsy" before they let you eat the food.

Third, there are many KOLs, or "opinion leaders," in the circle.

In every circle, there are some influential people. Out of this circle, these people may be nothing, but once they enter this circle, they are the "gods". These people are Key Opinion Leader, or KOL for short, which translates into Chinese as "opinion leader".
