The route of Lanzhou 2023 Marathon is as follows: Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center → Olympic Sports East Street → Nanbinhe West Road → Nanbinhe Middle Road → Nanbinhe East Road → Jin Yan Bridge → Beibinhe East Road → Beibinhe West Road → Near Shen An Yellow River Bridge (turn back) → Beibinhe West Road → Yinnan Road Auxiliary Road (north) → Yintan Yellow River Bridge → Yinnan Road Auxiliary Road (south) → Nanbinhe.

The 2023 Lanzhou Marathon started at Lanzhou Olympic Sports Center 1 1 on the morning of June 6, with about 40,000 athletes participating. It is understood that there are four events in this competition: marathon, half marathon, healthy running and family running. Gold medals in both men's and women's marathons were won by Ethiopian athletes.

In the men's half marathon, Zhang of China won the runner-up with 1 hour 9 minutes and 24 seconds, and his teammates won the third place with 1 hour 12 minutes and 42 seconds. In the women's half marathon, China's Li Meizhen won the second place with 1 hour 18 minutes and 56 seconds, and teammate Wang Qiaoxia won the third place with 1 hour 20 minutes and 55 seconds.

History of Lanzhou Marathon:

It has been held for three consecutive sessions. The event is the largest international sports event held in Gansu Province and Lanzhou City so far, with the largest number of participants, which has had a wide influence at home and abroad. The route of Lanzhou International Marathon is located along the "Yellow River Style Line", a city card carefully built by Lanzhou for many years. The scenery along the way is beautiful, the mountains are still and the water is moving, and the scenery is pleasant.

During the running, participants can appreciate the unique natural ecological landscape along the Yellow River, and combine the marathon spirit of challenging themselves, exceeding the limit, perseverance and never giving up with the endless Yellow River culture to become a unique marathon event in northwest China.

Lanzhou International Marathon was held for the first time from 20 1 1 and won wide acclaim from all walks of life. It was rated as "the best marathon event" and "the marathon gold medal event of China Athletics Association", upgraded to a national integral event in 20 12, and was awarded the title of "bronze medal event" by IAAF in 20 13.

Through the success of three consecutive sessions, Lanzhou's city popularity and influence have been greatly enhanced, and the pace of "letting Lanzhou go to the world and let the world know about Lanzhou" has been accelerated.
