Investigation report and questionnaire of empty nesters
When things are unknown, we need to carry out the investigation with innovative spirit, and finally show the investigation results with the investigation report. How to focus the investigation report? The following are the survey reports and questionnaires I collected for empty nesters, hoping to help you.
First, the purpose of investigating empty nesters in Chang 'an District
(1) With the development of society, the problem of aging in China is becoming more and more serious, especially the problem of "empty nest" elderly people deserves people's attention. Some of them have no children and are helpless; Some miss their children, but they may be away or not around because of their busy work; They are eager to communicate, but they can't find someone to talk to; They want to integrate into society, but they can do less and less. Empty nesters are lonely and there are many difficulties and inconveniences in their lives. They need spiritual comfort and social care.
(2) Through the investigation of empty nesters in the surrounding communities of Chang 'an District, we can improve our social practice ability, enhance our understanding and concern for the vulnerable group of empty nesters, raise our awareness of respecting and loving the elderly, and better offer love to the empty nesters around us.
Secondly, the background and significance of the investigation of empty nesters in Chang 'an District.
(1) Investigate the background of empty nesters in Chang 'an District.
With the continuous decline of the fertility level and the continuous extension of the average life expectancy of the elderly population in China, the aging of the age structure of the population in China is becoming increasingly obvious, and the number of empty-nest families of the elderly in China is also on the rise. The so-called empty nest family refers to a family where children grow up separated from their parents and families, leaving only the elderly to live alone. It can be predicted that empty-nest families will gradually become one of the main family forms in urban areas of China. Therefore, we need to understand the basic living conditions of empty nesters in Chang 'an District, and analyze the factors that affect the improvement of the quality of life of empty nesters in Chang 'an District, so as to realize the further harmonious construction of Chang 'an District.
(B) the significance of caring for empty nesters in Chang 'an District
Caring for empty nesters is a concrete manifestation of scientific development and people-oriented; This is an inevitable requirement for building a harmonious society; It is the responsibility of the state, society, family and every citizen; It is the concrete embodiment of scientific development and people-oriented; This is an inevitable requirement for building a harmonious society, and it is also the responsibility of the state, society, family and every citizen. Filial piety to the elderly is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation. The problem of empty nesters needs attention from all walks of life. As a new generation of college students, we should set an example and contribute our love and strength to the society.
Third, the living conditions and existing problems of empty nesters
(A) poor economic conditions
The living conditions of empty nesters in cities and towns are relatively better. Most elderly families rely on pensions, about 65,438+00% on social assistance, and about 9% on other sources. However, the rural empty nesters have few sources of income, poor economic conditions and relatively poor living conditions. Their life is very simple. They wear clothes many years ago and eat mostly their own food and vegetables. It is difficult to eat meat at ordinary times. Only when people come and go during the Spring Festival can life improve. Most young people in rural areas go out to work, but their income is meager.
Physical health is worrying.
The prevalence rate of chronic diseases in empty nesters is as high as 70%-80%. Although most elderly people have participated in medical insurance, the reimbursement rate is very low, and it is expensive to go to the hospital to see a doctor. Old people are usually suffering from minor illnesses and serious illnesses, which leads to perennial diseases. More elderly people are afraid of adding burdens to their children. Take some cheap painkillers every time you get sick to hide your illness. They would rather suffer than cause trouble to their children. Children usually come back once a year when they go out to make a living, and they don't have much money to see their parents, so they are often unable to do so.
(3) The psychological burden of intergenerational education is heavy.
If you only take care of your grandson's daily life, it will only increase the pressure on the elderly and increase the labor intensity. However, the education of children has increased the psychological burden of the elderly: first, because the elderly do not have enough energy to educate their children, and second, because the elderly are generally not well educated and have little literacy, they cannot help their children learn. If the child is naughty, the old man can't discipline him at all. At the same time, with the rapid development of science and technology, mobile phones, the Internet and other negative information have a certain impact on children, and many elderly people are unable to manage their children.
(4) There are hidden dangers in security issues.
Because empty nesters are older and inconvenient to move, they are easy to become targets of criminals. There are also many crimes against the elderly, such as personal injury, theft, robbery and fraud, which have affected the personal safety and life stability of the elderly. At the same time, some elderly people have poor physical fitness. Once their physical condition shows a dangerous signal and there are no relatives around them, it is easy to have an accident. Every year, dozens of empty nesters die of acute diseases such as myocardial infarction and cerebral thrombosis.
Fourth, the practice content of caring for empty nesters in Chang 'an District
(1) visited some communities in Chang 'an District, such as Xinyuan Community, Grand Hyatt Garden and Jinduicheng Community, and visited the empty nesters in these communities to help them do what they can. For example, cleaning the room, washing clothes and buying some daily necessities for the elderly. Chat with them, walk and listen to understand the inner thoughts of empty nesters.
(2) According to the economic status, daily life, health care problems, psychological status, entertainment activities and other aspects of the empty nesters, a questionnaire survey was conducted, with a total of 18 questions. Questionnaires 100, and valid questionnaires 100 were recovered, all of which were valid. After the questionnaire was collected, I carefully sorted out and statistically analyzed the questionnaire, summarized various indicators and calculated the proportion.
5. Investigation results of empty nesters in Chang 'an District.
After statistical analysis and induction of all valid questionnaires, the results show that they mainly face the following three problems:
(A) the economy does not have enough sources, and life is tight.
In the survey, we found that 65% empty nesters have no income and 35% have economic income. Their economic income is very low, and their average monthly income is generally lower than that of 500 yuan. However, the daily living expenses of empty nesters who have no financial resources are all supported by their children. 60% empty nesters said that seeing a doctor is the biggest item of family expenditure, and the consumption level of empty nesters is relatively low. In fact, the diet of many empty nesters can't meet their nutritional needs, and their accommodation is very simple.
(B) daily life is difficult to take care of themselves, mobility inconvenience
Among the empty nesters surveyed, most are over 70 years old, accounting for 1/3 of the total. However, as they get older, it becomes more and more difficult for them to take care of themselves. The survey shows that 18% of empty nesters can't take care of themselves at all, 42% can take care of themselves partially, and only 40% can take care of themselves completely. When they need care, most of their children work or settle in other places, and their wives are equally old or wandering in hospital beds.
(3) Psychological loneliness is uncomfortable all day and hard to let go.
During this survey, I found that nearly half of the elderly people often feel depressed, anxious, irritable, insecure, happy and comfortable, and their happiness index is low. There are few outdoor sports venues in the surveyed communities, only a few large-scale communities have relatively perfect sports equipment, and there are few entertainment facilities for the elderly. Their usual entertainment mainly focuses on walking, chatting and playing cards. Therefore, the mental stress of empty nesters has nowhere to vent, which leads to their psychological insecurity. Judging from the frequency of communication with children, only a few empty nesters communicate frequently with their children, so the emotional comfort of empty nesters is poor.
Sixth, experience
In this social practice survey, I felt deeply, contacted the empty nesters around me and deeply realized their current situation; I also gained a lot. I feel that I have not only completed a social survey, from which I have gained a moral sublimation, but also exercised my practical ability and social communication ability. In the days to come, I want to let people around me know the difficulties of empty nesters, and not let empty nesters become the endorsements of our parents. Many college students go to school in a foreign land and can't be grateful to their loved ones at any time, but we can give this love to the empty nesters who need it more and to such a vulnerable group. Let us believe, and firmly believe that the motherland's tomorrow will be better!

empty nester
Empty nesters generally refer to middle-aged and elderly people after their children leave home. With the deepening of social aging, there are more and more empty nesters, which has become a social problem that cannot be ignored. When their children leave home for work, study, marriage and other reasons, the symptoms of psychological disorders of middle-aged and elderly couples living alone in "empty nest" are called family "empty nest" syndrome.
With the development of China's economy, the problem of aging has become increasingly prominent, and the phenomenon of "empty nesters" has attracted particular attention. 201210129 October, the first national symposium on smart pension strategy introduced that the proportion of empty nesters is very large. By 2050, the number of childless elderly deaths in China will reach about 79 million, and the elderly living alone and empty nesters will account for more than 54%. The problem of providing for the aged with empty nesters has once again attracted attention.
On June 4th, 2022, 65438 "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting Rural Revitalization in 2022" proposed: improve the care and contact system of grassroots party member cadres, and often visit empty nesters.
