What are the interesting places in Sanya?
Sanya, known as Yazhou in ancient times, also known as Lucheng, has a long history and colorful culture. The ends of the earth, large and small caves, Yazhou ancient city and Luobidong Sanya ancient human site all contain rich history and culture. Sanya, located at the southernmost tip of Hainan Province, is the only tropical coastal tourist city in China, with ten scenic resources including sunshine, seawater, beaches, climate, forests, animals, hot springs, caves, villages and customs. In 2007, BOCOG announced that Sanya became the first stop of the domestic torch relay for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Scattered tourist attractions and diverse tourist resources constitute a rare tropical coastal scenery. The charming bay makes people linger and feel relaxed and happy. The four seasons here are like spring, with fragrant flowers and fruits, green mountains and green waters, graceful coconut groves and seagulls. Rainbow-like bay, clear water, white sand beach, surging waves, bright sunshine, blue sky, fresh air, blue sea, unpredictable white clouds, all kinds of strange rocks, colorful underwater world and legendary national customs all exude charming charm.
Facing the beautiful Sanya, people can't help but be impressed by the ingenuity of nature. When coming here, many tourists at home and abroad can't help but marvel that "it's not Hawaii, it's better than Hawaii". When the third generation leaders of our country visited the wonders of Sanya Seamount, they were amazed at its scenic spots, and improvised an inscription, "Looking at the blue sea, Qiongya is full of spring". The musician wrote a song "Please come to the ends of the earth", which was sung all over the motherland and touched the hearts of countless people.
Sanya Tianya Haijiao
Legend has it that the two big stones "Tianya" and "Cape" also have their own origins. It is said that a pair of lovestruck men and women came from two feuding families, and their love was opposed by their own people, so they were forced to flee here, and they both jumped into the sea and turned into two huge stones, always facing each other. Later generations carved the words "Tianya" and "Cape" to commemorate their faithful love. Later, men and women often used "the ends of the earth will always follow" to show their intention.
Nansan
Nanshan Tourist Scenic Area is located in Nanshan District, Sanya City, 40 kilometers away from the urban area.
