How high is Lushan Mountain?
Lushan Mountain, also known as Kuangshan or Kuanglu, belongs to Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. According to legend, during the Yin and Zhou Dynasties, seven brothers of the Kuang family married Lu Yin and lived here, then died as immortals, and the country where they lived turned into a mountain, hence the name. Located 36 kilometers south of Jiujiang, it faces the Yangtze River in the north and Poyang Lake in the south. It is about 25 kilometers long from north to south and 20 kilometers wide from east to west. Most of the peaks are above 1000 meters above sea level, and Guling Mountain in the clouds is about 1 167 meters above sea level.
The main peak Hanyang Peak is1474m above sea level.
