How much is the charging pile in the parking lot?
Description of public charging pile cost
The cost of public charging piles is higher than that of domestic charging piles, and the cost varies greatly according to the site selection, the number of charging piles and the installation method. A single charging pile usually costs $2,300, and charging piles of different brands and functions can reach up to $6,000. Other functions include LCD screen, special payment system and data tracker.
Different from household charging piles, the main cost of public charging piles comes from the installation cost, accounting for 60%-80% of the total cost. The farther the circuit breaker is from the charging pile, the higher the price.
Because the wires are wall-mounted, charging piles in parking lots and garages have the lowest cost and the lowest installation difficulty, usually 6000 dollars, while public charging piles without wall-mounted wires (such as roadside) are more expensive. At the same time, if several charging piles are installed in a charging station, wires and connectors can be shared, and the cost is lower than that of installing only one charging pile.
