Treatment of tricuspid insufficiency

1. drug therapy

(1) Diagnosis and etiological treatment of primary disease leading to right ventricular enlargement.

(2) giving vasodilators, diuretics and cardiotonic drugs; Vasodilators can reduce reflux.

(3) The management principle of atrial fibrillation is the same as that of mitral stenosis.

2. Surgical therapy

(1) mitral and aortic valve diseases with pulmonary hypertension, severe tricuspid regurgitation, tricuspid valvuloplasty during mitral and aortic valve surgery.

(2) When tricuspid valve itself causes severe reflux (Ebstein malformation, infective endocarditis) and valvuloplasty or repair fails, valve replacement is performed.
