Historical story of Daqing 100 words

The Daqing area was a hunting ground for the Mongolian flag Dulbert in the early Qing Dynasty and has always had settled villages.

In 1898, when Tsarist Russia built the Middle East Railroad, it established Saltu Station here.

In 1904, it began to release the land for cultivation, and there were more and more villages and tunnels.

In 1906 (Qing Guangxu 32) in the town of Anda Renmin set up Anda Fuminfu, in 1913 changed to Anda County.

Saltu was changed to Xingren Town during the pseudo-Manchu.

The name Saltu was restored in 1946.

In 1947 the People's Democratic Regime established several ranches in the area of Saltu, which were merged into the Red Steppe Ranch in 1955.

In 1955 the Songliao Petroleum Exploration Bureau began drilling for petroleum resources in the area of Datong in Anda County.

On September 26, 1959, the "Songji Three Wells" near Gaotaizi, north of Datong, spewed out an industrial oil stream, and the field was named Daqing Oil Field.

Later, the new oil city that emerged from the Daqing oil field was also named Daqing City.

Daqing was first called Anda.

On May 26, 1960, Anda County was abolished, set up Anda City (prefecture level), Anda City People's Committee in the town of Anda under the Songhua River area.

In October of the same year, the Songliao Oil War command authority moved to Saltu.

June 23, 1964, the abolition of Anda City, the restoration of Anda County, the establishment of Anda Special Zone, still known as Anda City.

December 14, 1979, Anda City was renamed Daqing City, under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province.
