Dragon Boat Festival menu (traditional classic food)
zongzi
Zongzi is an indispensable traditional food for the Dragon Boat Festival. Let's learn how to make zongzi.
Materials:
Glutinous rice, pork, salted egg yolk, scallop, mushroom, onion, ginger, five-spice powder, salt, soy sauce, peanut oil and zongye.
Steps:
1. Soak glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours.
2. Cut the pork into small pieces, add onion, ginger, spiced powder, salt and soy sauce and marinate for 30 minutes.
3. Salted egg yolk, scallops and mushrooms are cut into small pieces for later use.
4. Wash the leaves with water and soak them until soft.

9. Put all the zongzi into a large pot, add enough water and cook for 2-3 hours.
10. Take out the zongzi and let it cool before eating.
Changpu cake
Acorus calamus cake is a traditional dessert of Dragon Boat Festival, and its making method is also very simple.
Materials:
Glutinous rice flour, sugar, calamus powder and water.
Steps:
1. Mix glutinous rice flour, sugar and calamus powder together.
2. Add a proper amount of water and stir well to form a paste.
3. Pour the batter into a steamer and steam it on medium heat 15-20 minutes.
Take out the cake and cool it before eating.
Longzhou rice

Steps:
