How is the juice extracted from rubber trees processed into rubber materials?
First, the workers scraped a hole in the rubber tree with special tools, and soon the white liquid on the tree began to drip down the wound to the ceramic pot below. This is a rubber plantation in Thailand. Thousands of rubber trees planted in the park can provide a steady stream of rubber raw materials for the factory every year. After six hours of collection, the workers will put all the branches and leaves into this container, and then add a certain proportion of acetic acid into it. When the rubber liquid is fully mixed with this high-strength corrosive liquid, it will soon condense into a plastic paste.
Secondly, workers will put them into a drum and press them into the shape of rubber skin with uniform thickness, and then hang them outdoors to dry naturally for several hours until the color of the rubber sheets turns yellow and the texture becomes thicker. Then they can collect them together and send them to a nearby cleaning line for cleaning and pretreatment. Next, the torn rubber sheet will be soaked in a clear water tank for half an hour. After all kinds of impurities attached to the rubber surface are completely softened, they will be sent to this professional washing equipment, and any dust and impurities that may affect the finished rubber products will be washed away by the steel brush device inside the machine. Finally, hang them on the clothes rack and wait for the next processing procedure.
Thirdly, next, in order to prevent the rubber from becoming moldy due to excessive moisture, the cleaned rubber pieces will be baked in this curing barn for three days and three nights until the moisture is completely dry, and then they can be sent to the manual sorting row, and the workers will divide them into different grades according to the characteristics of rubber such as color, texture and completeness. Finally, the sorted rubber pieces will be put into the mold, and then extruded into cubes that meet the international packaging standards by hydraulic devices. Before being transported to other parts of the world in containers, workers will spray a layer of calcium carbonate liquid on the surface of rubber blocks to ensure that the quality of all rubber will not be damaged by the growth of mold, and then make various tires or accessories.
