What is the outlook on life between Taoism and Confucianism in China traditional culture? What are the differences?

Taoism: value people and life.

Confucianism: Regarding the origin of all things in the universe and human beings, Confucianism denies God's creationism and thinks that it is the combination of Yin and Yang. In other words, it is natural. For example, the Book of Changes says: "The secret of heaven and earth is the alcohol of all things; Men and women are refined, and everything is transformed. " Although the Book of Songs and the Book of Changes are "naturally steaming people, there are things, carried by the sky, silent and odorless"; "Do a big job, everything starts, and the sky is unified"; But the concept of heaven is vague and cannot be equated with the God who created the universe and human beings. Ru Song-Fu deduced the theory of regulating qi by yin and yang in heaven and earth, saying that "Tai Chi" is the beginning of all things, and Tai Chi is based on "infinity", and no one can exhaust its source. They also take "Tai Chi" as the principle, reasoning and qi are mixed together, and there is no difference at first. It makes sense to divide qi into yin and yang. Because of the movement of Yin and Yang, heaven and earth are separated. The sky is yang, active; Yin, the main static; Men and women are different, light and shade are different, life and death are divided, and inferiority, wisdom, stupidity and unworthiness are also judged from this. People get the whole justice, while things get the bias of justice.

Regarding the truth of human beings and the good and evil of human nature, Confucius only said that "sex is similar, learning is far away" and "teaching has no lessons", but he did not absolutely advocate sexual goodness at first. Most people think that Confucianism advocates good nature, but this is not necessarily the case. Xunzi of Confucianism once advocated the theory of evil nature. He believes that the prosperity of criminal politics and etiquette is to prevent delaying the opportunity, which is enough to prove that human nature is evil. In particular, Mencius emphasized that "good nature is not as good as water, and there is nothing wrong with people and water"; Because of Mencius' important position in Confucianism and his eloquence, everyone regards Mencius as authentic and Xunzi as heresy.

The Confucian road to life is "to be virtuous, to be new to the people, and to stop at perfection"; Knowing virtue ends in the realm of perfection, which lies in "respecting things, being knowledgeable, being sincere, being upright, cultivating oneself, keeping the family in order, governing the country and leveling the world". Confucianism regards life as "the great virtue of heaven and earth", and life should be all in me, taking life as pleasure; With the establishment of people, there is a talent; If you are poor, you will be immune to it, and if you are good, you will help the world. Although Confucius also said "destiny", he said that "destiny is nature, frankness is Tao, and cultivation is teaching." But he ignored the most fundamental "sex and heaven" and couldn't hear it, which can be called giving up the root and chasing the end. Therefore, most Confucian scholars believe that "the sky is far away and people are close"; If you don't know life, how do you know death? Their attitude towards life is only that they are optimistic about life and pay attention to reality. Their efforts are to cultivate temperament and morality. Although they have the great ambition of "building a world for the people's livelihood, carrying forward the past and opening up a peaceful future for generations"; But I don't know the mystery of the kingdom of heaven and the road to eternal life. Although they also have a set of principles of "eternal heroism" and "immortal spirit" to comfort themselves; But it can't solve the big problem of human life and death, which is a defect of Confucianism.
