Knowledge inheritance and wisdom inheritance, now the root of the national education has been broken, there is no
At the intellectual level, there is inheritance of all the things mentioned above, but the inheritance at the wisdom level has been broken. Because, I don't know which scholars who talk about nationalism have achieved the cultivation of the body, the unification of the family, the governance of the country, and the pacification of the world. There is a very famous scholar in China who talks about national studies, but he always fights with the people around him, even when he faces his family. Why? It is because he does not have the transmission of wisdom and does not cultivate his mind. Therefore, the knowledge he learned could not change his behavior. Nowadays, all the places where you can get access to the national culture, some of them have only the transmission of knowledge level, not the transmission of wisdom level. Therefore, the traditional Chinese culture has been completely broken.
The same is true of the root of life, which must be rooted not only at the level of knowledge -- that is to say, to understand the culture and know what it says -- but also at the level of wisdom, that is to say, to make it the nourishment of one's own life, to change one's own life. If you can't do these two things, the culture is not relevant to you.
The roots of national education - that is, the roots of traditional culture - are the same. We must learn something and then slowly allow that knowledge to change our behavior. If you learn Chinese studies all day long, but can't even change your behavior, your learning Chinese studies is pure bullshit. You're just a parrot, parroting in a cage, not knowing what you're talking about. Western culture is the same way. For example, many people learn English and Western culture, but they don't use that culture to change their lives at all, so there's not much point in learning like that. Of course, it's okay to learn about it as knowledge, but if you want to truly pass on the culture, you have to get stuck in and do two things: first, pass on the knowledge correctly; and second, truly change lives.
