Types and uses of lamps

1. Ordinary incandescent lamps that are generally used incandescent bulbs Features: good color rendering (Ra = 100), turn on the light that is bright, can be continuous dimming, simple structure, low price, but short life, low light efficiency. Usage: living room, living room, lobby, guest room, store, restaurant, aisle, meeting room, courtyard. Usage: table lamp, ceiling lamp, wall lamp, bedside lamp, corridor lamp.

2. Tungsten halogen lamps filling gas containing some halogen elements or halide gas-filled incandescent lamps. With all the characteristics of ordinary lighting incandescent lamps, light efficiency and life expectancy than ordinary lighting incandescent lamps more than double, and small size. Uses: meeting rooms, exhibition halls, living rooms, commercial lighting, film and television stage, instrumentation, automobiles, airplanes and other special lighting.

Tungsten halogen lamps are divided into the main high-voltage tungsten halogen lamps (can be directly connected to the 220V-240V power supply) and low-voltage tungsten halogen lamps (need to be equipped with the corresponding transformer) two kinds of low-voltage tungsten halogen lamps have a relatively longer life, safety performance and other advantages.

The secret of choosing tungsten halogen lamps: the color temperature of the lamp, life, safety and whether to isolate the ultraviolet rays.

3. Fluorescent lamps Fluorescent lamps are commonly known as fluorescent lamps Features: high luminous efficacy, long life, good light color. Fluorescent lamps are available in straight tube, ring type, compact type, etc. They are energy-saving lighting sources with a wide range of applications.

4. Low-pressure sodium lamps Characteristics: high luminous efficiency, long life, high luminous flux maintenance rate, strong fog permeability, but poor color rendering. Uses: tunnel, harbor, dock, mine and other lighting.
