Traditional door frame installation

At present, the doorframes of new buildings are all nailed to the pre-placed wooden blocks on both sides of the doorframes, or fixed to the outer wall with long screws.

Seal line

Sealing line is a wooden strip nailed to the front and back of the door frame after the door frame is installed, which is used to cover the gap between the door frame and the wall to make the whole door look beautiful, and the door frame and the wall will shrink in the future, so it is not easy to see cracks on the front.

Grinding ear

Grinding ears are bent into a zigzag shape with iron plates. The most traditional way is to screw the door frame close to the wall with a screwdriver, and polish the wall with nails. After drying, the door frame is fixed on the wall.
