1. The Riot Kittens: A Punk Prayer: This documentary about the trial of three members of the Rebel Pussycats was directed by Mike Lerner and Maxim Pozdorovkin.

In the winter of 2011, after a controversial election, Vladimir Putin was re-elected president of Russia. Thousands of residents spontaneously rallied against the legal provisions Putin had put in place. Among them was the famous radical female punk band, the Rebel Pussycats.
