Confucius is a great thinker, politician and educator in China. The Confucianism he founded played a very important role in maintaining social stability, so it was highly respected by feudal dynasties, and Confucius temples were built all over the country to commemorate and sacrifice Confucius.

In China, there are about 1600 Confucius temples, of which more than 300 are well preserved. Quanzhou Confucian Temple is the largest Confucian Temple complex in Southeast Asia. Its quantity, scale and exquisite art are very rare among the existing Confucian temples in China.

As an extremely important part of China's ancient cultural heritage, Quanzhou Confucian Temple holds many cultural activities every year to show the core charm of China's traditional culture, which also attracts more and more tourists to Quanzhou, enter this magnificent temple and feel the traditional culture.

In the downtown business district of Quanzhou, people come and go here, and tourists are everywhere. In Pan Gong, Zhongshan Road, Licheng District, a huge Song Dynasty building attracted many people's attention. This is the national key cultural relics protection unit and Quanzhou's main cultural relic-Quanzhou Wenfu Temple.

However, from the perspective of architectural art, it is unique in that it brings together the architectural forms of Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, which are rare in the whole country. The Confucian temples in other places are independent buildings, but this is indeed a huge building complex. To understand the story behind it, or appreciate its essence, you need to walk slowly and savor it.

Quanzhou Confucian Temple began to be built at the end of Tang Kaiyuan, and then Prime Minister Zhang Jiuling inscribed the plaque "Rukoumiao". Taiping and Xingguo were built here in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty, and then moved to other places.

1/kloc-moved back in 0/09 (the third year of Daguan in Northern Song Dynasty) and rebuilt in 0/37 (the seventh year of Shaoxing in Southern Song Dynasty). Among them, it turned again and again, and finally settled in Quanzhou, forming an important base for the spread of China traditional culture with Confucianism as the core in the southeast coast and even Southeast Asia.

The most interesting story here is Dacheng Hall, the main building. This is a typical double eaves temple structure in Song Dynasty. The hall is a bucket arch and beam lifting structure. The whole hall is supported by 48 white stone pillars, and eight pillars are carved with dragons, which looks magnificent.

In the center of Dacheng Hall is a statue of Confucius. There are four characters on the beam written by Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, which shows the respect of emperors for Confucius' thought. Today, Confucius still guides young people to forge ahead, so when you are in the Confucius Temple, your heart will calm down.

I heard a long time ago that there was a tomb of Confucius behind Dacheng Hall, but I didn't see it myself. However, there is Fuzi Spring, just beside the site of Lingxingmen. Well water is very clear, and many people will drink it with a ladle, hoping to bring good luck to themselves.

The Confucian Temple has a long history and high ornamental value. Not only is it magnificent and beautiful from a distance, but you can also feel its rich cultural connotation when you approach and appreciate it. It is a famous Confucian temple complex in Fujian, and it is also an organic combination of Central Plains culture and ancient architecture art in southern Fujian in the Song Dynasty.
