List of Japanese Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan
supplement
The emblem of the Tokyo Olympic Games is a "Matsumura pattern" widely circulated in the Edo period in Japan. It uses traditional Japanese blue to describe Japanese customs. Its grid pattern consists of three kinds of squares, representing the differences of countries, cultures and ideas. Although there are differences, they can be integrated into diversity and harmony, which means that the Olympic Games and Paralympics are full of diversity and aim to connect the world.
The mascot is "ミラィトワ", which consists of "future" and "forever", meaning "the future will be eternal", which means to keep a bright future.
The slogan of this Olympic Games is "スポーツにはとをぇるがぁる", that is, "sports have the power to change the world and the future".
