During the day, koalas usually curl up and perch on eucalyptus trees, and then go out to climb up and down branches at night to find eucalyptus leaves to satisfy their hunger. It has a large appetite and a narrow esophagus, and does not eat eucalyptus leaves. Although there are more than 300 kinds of eucalyptus in Australia, koalas only eat 12 of them.
