Liang Qichao on what is the orthodox and unorthodox view of history
Liang Qichao gave a total rejection of the traditional historiographic view of orthodoxy and unorthodoxy. He believed that in Chinese history, no dynasty or generation could bear the name of orthodox or unorthodox: "Since Zhou and Qin, no dynasty has been able to bear this name."
From another point of view, Liang Qichao was a graduate of the Qing Dynasty during the Guangxu period, and the same as the traditional scholar, he had both loyalty and ambition to help the people, and with the decline of the Qing court, the Western winds of the East, his thinking has been a positive change.
