Why does the person have a headache?
The main clinical factors are as follows:
(l) Vasodilation: Extracranial artery dilatation is the most common in migraine and frontal arteritis. Pathogens and their toxins can cause vasodilatory headache in acute and chronic inflammation inside and outside the brain; Metabolic diseases, toxic diseases, brain trauma, epilepsy, hypertensive encephalopathy, and taking a large number of vasodilators can all cause vasodilative headaches.
(2) Vascular traction, compression or traction displacement: intracranial space-occupying diseases; Intracranial pressure increase caused by acute meningitis and encephalitis, toxic encephalopathy, brain edema, hydrocephalus, venous sinus thrombosis, brain tumor or cysticercosis. It was also found that after lumbar puncture and spinal anesthesia, cerebrospinal fluid flowed out more and intracranial pressure decreased, which led to the expansion of intracranial venous sinus and vein and caused headache.
(3) Headache caused by meningeal stimulation: acute and chronic inflammatory exudates in the brain (such as peritonitis), or blood from hemorrhagic diseases (such as subarachnoid hemorrhage) stimulate the meninges, or brain edema pulls the meninges and blood vessels to produce headaches.
(4) Nerve stimulation: Inflammation, compression and displacement of cranial nerve (such as trigeminal nerve) and cervical nerve can cause corresponding neuralgia.
(5) Headache caused by spasmodic contraction of head and neck muscles: neck diseases such as head and neck muscle tension, inflammation, local mass and chronic abscess. Reflexively cause neck muscle spasm and continuous contraction, leading to headache. Such as headache caused by cervical spondylosis, also known as muscle contraction headache.
(6) Radioactivity of organs near the head or related headache: it is common in diseases of eyes, ears, nose, sinuses and teeth. , can spread or reflect to the head, causing headaches.
(7) Other reasons: Common cardiogenic headaches are mainly mental or emotional headaches, such as common neurotic headaches, hysterical or depressive headaches, and some such as "swimming goggles headache", benign cough headache, cold irritation headache and "sexual headache" related to sexual activities.
