Conflicts between the Allies and the Entente in World War I

3 conflicts:

French-German conflict: seeking dominance of the European continent, especially after the Franco-Prussian War of 1871 France sought revenge, and the two countries clashed around the hegemony of the continent

British-German conflict: Germany, as a newly emerging capitalist country, was in dire need of markets and raw materials, i.e., colonies, and at this time, the world's colonies had been basically demarcated. So Germany sought to develop its navy to divide up the colonies, which conflicted with Britain's interests, i.e. colonial hegemony

Russian-Austrian conflict: Russia and the Balkan Peninsula countries belonged to the same Slavic ethnic group, used the Cyrillic alphabet, and practiced Orthodox Christianity; therefore, Russia regarded itself as the savior of the Slavic ethnic group; however, the Balkan Peninsula was a sphere of influence of the Austro-Hungarian empire, and therefore, the conflict between Russia and Austria was irreconcilable
