Are Tarot and Guru cards the same thing? If not, what is the difference between them?

What is Tarot

The word "Tarot" is taken from the Egyptian words tar and ro, which means "the way of the king". Therefore, the word "tarot" itself also refers to the correct decision-making power that a king should have, which is the origin of this way of divination.

Tarot is an ancient divination tool, its origin is a mysterious legend, many experts in the study of the occult are trying to find out a little bit of clues, a variety of sayings of all kinds of clouds...

Some say it came from Egypt, meaning "sacred journey" and "god of wisdom and magic" in Egyptian.

Some say it's from ancient Rome, meaning "wheel of life" in Latin

Some say it's from Hebrew, meaning "law" in Jewish.

Some say it came from Persia, the Gypsy word for "playing cards", and it was the Gypsies who introduced the word "tarot" to Europe.

Some say it came from ancient India, where idols held certain symbols of the Tarot, such as cups, weights, swords and rings.

Some say it came from China, where card games were printed on banknotes during the Tang Dynasty, rumored to have been used by court wives and concubines for entertainment.

Whichever way you look at it, one thing is for sure: Tarot is the ancient treasures of wisdom that have been handed down to us by the wise men who drew them into patterns.

According to legend, the original Tarot was not in the form of cards for divination, but a book of "Dantes," a mysterious book designed to convey the will of the gods. Whenever the ancient Pharaohs had any difficult problems to solve, they would open this "Book of Dante" and all the problems would be solved. (Note: Rote - for the moon is the god of culture and education) Later, when the Egyptian dynasty was wiped out, in order to prevent this mysterious book from falling into the hands of foreigners, it was drawn in the form of pictures on cards and delivered to the magi. It was later introduced to Europe through the hands of Alexander. In the Middle Ages or so, it formed the Tarot cards that we now play.

Tarot cards were popular in the Middle Ages in the West, from many of the drawings and books of the time can be found in its traces, whether it is the royal court aristocracy or the common people, tarot cards are omnipresent. Until the rise of the Church, tarot cards were regarded as pagan mystical magic, and have been suppressed ever since. Under the protection of those who had the heart, the tarot cards still survived, showing its mysterious breath in front of the world.

Tarot is a combination of 22 picture cards (Major Arcana) and 56 number cards (Minor Arcana), *** there are seventy-eight of them, and each delicate card has its unique pattern and meaning. The method of divination is to arrange the cards in a certain way (here we call it "unfolding"), and then look at the position of the cards to make a judgment. We can do divination for different needs such as love, health, finance, marriage, etc. No matter what it is, it can be known by the tarot cards, especially when we don't know what kind of action we should take, it is a very good indicator. In addition, the interpretation of the cards by the cards conveyed by the message, only you to discover it, to open the ancient mystery of the tarot.

Tarot Introduction

Tarot consists of 22 main cards (Major Arcana) and 56 side cards (Minor Arcana), *** counting 78 cards. The method of divination in Tarot is to arrange the cards in some form (i.e. unfolding), and then look at the position of the cards and their symbolic content to make a judgment. It can be used for different needs such as love, health, finance, career, marriage, etc. Especially when you don't know what action you should take in the next stage, it is a very good signpost. The information conveyed by the cards can be quite accurate as long as we play with it carefully.

Origins of the Tarot

▼Ancient Italian Doctrine -- According to historians, tarot cards were played by aristocrats in Europe as early as the 14th century, during which time the Holy See banned tarot cards, characterizing them as the Devil's Atlas, an object of the heathen. In addition, the earliest known modern tarot cards appeared in Italy at the end of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century. The Italian poker game "tarocco" is similar in pronunciation to the tarot card "tarto" and has only twenty-two cards, which is similar to the twenty-two main cards of the tarot (the Major Arcana), and at the same time, Italian poetry celebrates love, triumph, charity, death, honor, fate and the future. , death, honor, fate and the future and other meanings are similar to the Tarot, therefore, the claim that the Tarot originated in Italy is agreed by many people. However, many scholars who study tarot cards think that this evidence only shows that tarot cards once appeared in Europe, and do not believe that tarot cards originated in Europe.

▼The Gypsy Doctrine -- Scholars of the Tarot believe that the cards were most likely brought to Europe by Gypsies from Asia or Africa, who made their living by divination, and that the Tarot was one of their methods of divination. However, the Gypsies were a nomadic people who wandered around, is it possible that they developed an extremely systematic philosophy of tarot cards? The Tarot may not have been a Gypsy product, they just learned it from other civilizations.

▼ Ancient Egyptian Doctrine - Some people feel that the Tarot is a product of ancient Egypt. Many believe that after the destruction of Alexandria in Egypt, the Moroccan city of Fez became the new world center of learning, where scholars from all over the world gathered, but unfortunately they did not have a ****common language and script, so they prepared an atlas full of mystical symbols, replacing the language and text with drawings, which later morphed into cards for games. This story is too hard to believe and has no basis in fact, but there is another story, willingly taken from ancient Egypt, that is worth hearing.

Thoth (translated as "Egyptian moon god" by some) was one of the many gods of the ancient Egyptians, in charge of wisdom and magic, and he was also the inventor of numbers. It is thought that he invented the two of the Tarot cards, the two card Major Arcana, as part of the rituals of the Egyptian sorcerers.

This claim, again, is without much merit, and tarot experts who believe in this theory agree that there must have been documentation of this in Egypt, where in 1799, Napoleon's army found a piece of clay inscribed with the writings of the ancient Egyptians. Not only this clay plate, but no other Egyptian literature has been found to contain any record of the Tarot, a frustrating thing for believers in the Egyptian theory. Whether that's right or wrong, there's no denying that a number of tarot card symbols originated in ancient Egypt.

▼Jewish theory - After a flurry of research, experts have found that the tarot is arguably more reliable in its strong connection to the ancient Hebrew philosophy of kabbala, an ancient Jewish philosophy said to have been taught by God to Moses (or Messer) as a way of encouraging mutual cooperation and spiritual strength among people. It is a discipline in which people cooperate with each other to enhance their spiritual strength. The twenty-two Major Arcana of the Tarot have a profound relationship with the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet and kabbala, and some people have compiled a concordance between the Tarot and the ancient Hebrew alphabet, and studies of the Tarot in recent decades have shown that the argument that the Tarot originated from the ancient Jews has a high degree of credibility.

Summary of the above statement, the origin of the Tarot is roughly due to this: First of all, the Tarot's Major Arcana originated from the ancient Jews of the kabbaka, due to the ancient Jews and the ancient Egyptians often have contact with the Egyptian religious symbols, but also absorb a lot of Egyptian religious symbols, with the Middle East frequent wars, the Tarot predecessor almost disappeared, and then the gypsies somehow learned how to use the Tarot, but I believe that they are the first to have a good understanding of the Tarot. It seems that the philosophical aspects of the Tarot may not have been well understood, and they used it as a divination tool. It spread to Europe between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries and was quickly banned by the Church. After the Church's power weakened, the tarot can be developed again, one after another, new tarot cards introduced, especially in the late nineteenth century, researchers and the ancient Jewish secret religion of the tarot scroll artifacts linked to the study of the tarot become more systematic, Weite tarot (rider tarot) is one of the representatives of the tarot cards.

Preparation before divination

Precautions

I. Tarot card speculation is a kind of "touching the machine:, sincerity is the spirit. Tarot card speculation, usually very effective, it provides an omen or warning.

Second, the cards shown in the card speculation is a symbolism, each tarot card is hidden positive and negative two kinds of meaning, when the card is turned out to be positive, on behalf of the positive significance; when the card is turned out to be the upside down, on behalf of the negative significance.

Three, like the I Ching, any Tarot card has both a negative and a positive side, i.e., a positive and a negative side. Therefore, do not be too proud to get a good card, you should seize the opportunity to take action, so as not to lose the opportunity; get a bad card do not need to be discouraged, as long as you can raise the vigilance, you can turn danger into success.

Four, tarot cards are very rich in meaning, when the cards turn out, you can pattern the impression of the first "feel" a bit, it will be out of the depths of your mind, give you a lot of enlightenment.

Fifth, the tarot card speculation must be very clear, direct, do not generalize the questions asked. Ask only one question at a time.

Sixth, the same question, do not have to ask twice. If you want to further understand the heart of the doubt, you can change the way of asking and then speculate once more, in order to confirm.

Seven, cherish, care for your tarot cards. The more you cherish it, the more affectionate you are with it, the more you will be able to realize the meaning of the cards.

Higher, it is best to choose a quiet place to avoid interference; especially if the questioner wants to be secretive, focus on privacy, more attention should be paid to the choice of the place of speculation.

Nine, let the questioner take the cards, shuffle the cards, so that he has enough time to conceptualize the problem, and can relax.

Ten, tarot cards are a medium, a kind of induction, through the cards show a sign, so you can use the sixth sense and intuition to interpret the meaning of the cards.

Eleven, no matter whether the signs shown are bad or good, they are all open to it." The most important rule of life is to be in harmony with the heaven and the earth.

Specifically summarized as:

One time: Tarot card speculation time is not limited to time, and not necessarily at night, but to be in the quiet time, but one day at a time is better.

Two place: choose a hidden location, preferably not in public, in order to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

Three object: the speculator can be myself or speculate for others.

Four Shuffling: each speculation must be preceded by a shuffling action performed by the querent, mixing the cards at random. The cards can be shuffled face down on the table and rubbed between the two hands; they can also be held in the hand and shuffled as if playing bridge.

Five Cutting: After shuffling, the cards are folded and the asker is asked to cut the cards twice before placing them on the table.

Six Drawing: Choose the presumed deck based on the question the questioner is going to ask, and have the questioner start drawing cards, one at a time.

VII Row of Cards: The cards drawn by the questioner are arranged in the order of the suits, and at this point the cards are all covered up face down.

Eight: The cards are opened one by one, and after all the cards have been opened, the interpretation of the cards begins.

Nine: Whether it is your own speculation or for others, before you interpret the cards, first feel the feeling of the cards, what kind of significance it represents; and then from the interpretation of each card and the whole deck of the previous and subsequent relationships to do a comprehensive analysis.

Divination Steps

Step 1: Prior Preparation and Taboos

The first and most important thing is to make sure that your body and mind are in a good and calm state before using tarot cards. Tarot reading is a laborious task and requires concentration to understand the meaning of the cards.

When is the best time to read?

Anytime is fine as long as you are in a clear state of mind.

Where to read?

Find a location that won't disturb you. Ideally, a good place to do this: go to your quiet nook with a friend, make a cup of black tea, and come together to read the destiny of your pull.

What to use for speculation?

With tarot cards, of course! This time the method of speculation, the use of twenty-two large tarot cards to carry out.

A black cloth. Basically, the tarot requires a table with enough space to line up the cards, and a clean cloth to spread on the table so that the cards don't come into direct contact with the table and get dirty. Black is recommended because it is the color that gathers the most light and energy, both scientifically and hypothetically.

What should I avoid?

Don't speculate on the same question twice in the same place. The Tower cards are a tool for you to read your destiny, a companion on the journey of destiny, and as such, you must put your trust in them. If the results it tells you are not satisfactory, you should still maintain a respectful attitude. Don't have the mentality of "counting until you get a good result" - destiny is not a game of trial and error. If you do, your tarot cards won't be willing to show you any correct answers in the future.

Always trust your tarot cards.

Don't lose any of your cards. A deck, like a hand or foot, has its integrity, and whichever one is missing is a detriment to the card itself. So the advice I can give you is: please keep it carefully.

Avoid surprises when shuffling. During the shuffling process explained to you in step 3, there may be situations where a card is shuffled and suddenly turned face up, or some cards are shuffled to the floor, or put in the wrong pile when cutting, etc. You should try to avoid these accidents because they may cause you to lose a card, or to lose a card. You should try to avoid these accidents, because they all indicate one thing: you may not be concentrating enough. This will have the most serious effect on the outcome of the speculation.

Step 2: Confirm the question and the speculation

After everything is ready, the next step is to confirm the question you want to ask. Remember: the question must be confirmed before the next step, the shuffling of the cards. Once you start shuffling the cards, you can't change the question.

Step 3: Shuffle the Cards

Shuffling the cards is done in two different ways. These two shuffles are repeated for each speculation.

Let's start with the first shuffle. Place the twenty-two large tarot cards face down in your hand. Concentrate your mind without thinking about anything. Then, begin to obey your own will, from the center of the stack of cards to pull out a drop, placed on the top of the stack. Repeat the same action several times, as many times as you wish.

Next, place the cards on a flat surface and prepare for the second shuffle (see right). Again, your mind must be focused on spreading the cards in a circle and shuffling them with both hands in a clockwise direction. While shuffling, you should mentally state the question you are about to speculate on and think about the type of card you are going to use.

Listen to your inner voice and you will feel when it is time to stop; at this point, slowly gather the cards together (don't forget to do this in a clockwise fashion) and finally return them to a pile, placing them in a horizontal direction.

Also, there are some speculative laws that require the person asking the question to concentrate on his or her own will and meditate on the question. At this point, you just need to keep your mind free of distractions; when to stop shuffling is up to the person asking.

Step 4: Cutting

Cutting is the moment when the questioner can show his or her skills. Once you have shuffled the cards and stacked them face down in a pile, you ask the asker to cut the cards. Of course, if the asker is you, you'll have to cut the cards yourself.

First, ask your partner to concentrate on the top of the stack, pick up a card of his or her own volition (never leave it out), and place it under the original stack (that is, in the direction close to you), making it into two (see the picture on the right).

Again, take another drop from the top of the second drop; this will be placed on top of the first drop. Now you have three tiles in front of you.

Next, it's up to you to stack the cards back up. Pick up the first drop and place it on top of the second drop; then pick up this combination of the first and second drops and place it on top of the third drop. In this way, the stack is restored.

We have one last cut to make. In the process just described, the cards were all face down horizontally. Now we need to turn the cards straight down (see the picture on the left). Make no mistake about this: if you're speculating for the other person, you're rotating counterclockwise; that is, you're rotating the left end of the Tarot card 90 degrees downward, so that it's facing straight up. If you are speculating for yourself, you rotate the card 90 degrees clockwise. If you make a mistake, the meaning of the cards will be completely reversed, so be careful!

Step 5: Arrange the deck

Shuffling and cutting the deck is the most important step in the process. The next step is much simpler. All you need to do is to line up the deck in the way you have just decided to use it. Remember:

All Tarot cards are kept face down during the process. Usually only a portion of the cards will be used in the deck, and the rest of the cards will be kept in a straight face-down position, folded and set aside.

Step 6: Open the deck and read the cards

After the deck is lined up, each card is lifted in order. The way to lift the cards is to turn them over from left to right. Once all the cards are turned over, it's time for you to read them.

Easy numerology

Based on the year, month, and day of your birth, you can find the Tarot cards that represent your life. The rogue tarot cards of life can be divided into two kinds: one is the tarot card that represents the symbol of personality, and the other is the tarot card that represents the symbol of soul.

Tarot cards representing the symbols of personality, showing your wisdom, talent, temperament, demeanor, temperament, etc., that is, how other people look at you, everything.

The tarot card representing the soul symbol shows the inner you, your inner longing, source of energy, spiritual feelings, pursuit and aspiration of the ideal life, which represents the unknown real you.

When you were born on earth, your life began to contact with the world, and your personality and soul came with life.

So finding out the Tarot cards of your life (from the 22 or 25 cards of the Major Arcana) will give you a deeper understanding of who you are and how you are perceived by others.

Discovering the hidden personalities and strengths in your life can help you recognize yourself, realize your potential and strengths, and see the future clearly and develop a bright future.

The projections are as follows:

One, the calendar year of your birth, month, day of the three digits are added to get a total; and then the total of the number of digits will be added to get a two-digit number; and then two digits of the two-digit number will be added to get a single-digit number. This two-digit number represents the tarot card symbolized by the personality, and the single-digit number represents the tarot card symbolized by the soul.

Second, if the total number of each digit, and the sum is a number, then this number represents both personality and soul belong to the same symbol of the person, usually are professionals.

Three, if the sum of the total numbers is 19; 1 and 9 add up to 10; 1 and 0 then add up to 1, this is the only combination with three numbers.

The three numbers, the first represents personality, the third represents the soul, and the extra second represents creativity. People with the symbol of creativity are excellent creative minds.

Four, if the total number of each digit is added, and the sum is 22 (or 25), 22 minus 22 is equal to 0. Because the traditional tarot card is 22 (the Transformation Tarot is 25), the number of digits from 0 to 21, so the number of 22 is equal to the number of digits 0, which represents the individuality; 22 of the 2 plus 2 is equal to 4, which represents the soul.

Fifth, if the total number of each digit is added, and greater than 22 (25 in the Transfiguration Tarot), then subtract the sum of 22 (or 25), the remainder represents personality; and the sum of the two digits, the number of digits represents the soul.

Traditional Tarot Card Numbers Corresponding to the Type of Life

1. If the number of the symbol of humanity and the number of the soul are the same, it means that the development of your life is single; if the number of the symbol of personality and the number of the symbol of the soul are different, it means that the development of your life is again heavy.

Two, if your number is 0, it means that you are pursuing a colorful and varied life.

Three, if your number is 1 to 6, on behalf of your pursuit of a harmonious life.

Four, if your number is 7 to 12, on behalf of your pursuit of a life full of adventure and challenge.

Fifth, if your number is 13 to 18, on behalf of your pursuit of continuous creation and change of life.

Sixth, if your number is 19 to 21, on behalf of your pursuit of self-realization and achievement of life.

Based on the month and day of your birth and different years, you can deduce each tarot card that represents your supportive camelot in that year.

Because the fortune is based on your birthday, the beginning of each year's fortune is also based on that day.

For example, if you were born on June 1, 1976, your 1997 horoscope will be calculated from June 1, 1997, and your 1996 horoscope will be calculated before June 1, 1997.

Using this method of projection, you can find out the Tarot cards that represent the fortunes of the current year or the coming year. If you start from the year of birth, you can also calculate a person's current year.

From the calculation of the current year, you will find that your numbers are in order, but every once in a while the numbers will be interrupted and jump to another order. This interruption of numbers represents a change of fortune in your life, a turning point in your life and the beginning of a new fortune.

At the same time, you will also find that the Tarot cards representing the fortune, there is no 0 (the Fool) and 1 (the Magician) of these two cards, because each year's fortune is full of unknown (the Fool) and (the Magician) changes.

One, you were born in the solar month, day and the year of the year points added together to get the total number; and then the total number of numbers added together, if the sum is equal to or less than 21, according to this number to find out on behalf of the luck of the relevant tarot cards.

Second, if the total number and the number of numbers, and equal to or greater than 22 (the Tarot for the transformation of 25), then the sum of the two numbers and become the number of numbers, which is the number of numbers on behalf of the horoscope.

Three, if the total number of numbers added, and equal to 28, 2 and 8 added to equal 10, 10 that is, on behalf of the number of luck, and no longer 10 of 10 and added.

The Kurou cards, which contain the power of darkness, were created by the magician Kurorid. ***There are 52 cards, plus one lost, but powerful "Nothing" card. Each of the "Kulo Cards" has a different magical power, but after Sakura becomes the new owner of the "Kulo Cards", these powers gradually disappear.
