How should this kind of chart determine the seasons?

This is to determine the seasons and festivals, as well as related folk festivals and customs, from the change in the position of the sun's direct point.

There are three areas of knowledge relevant in this type of question. One is the process of the Earth's rotation and several special positions; the second is the knowledge related to the seasons and festivals; and the third is the folk festivals and folk customs related to the seasons and festivals.

Doing this kind of questions, first of all should be based on the rotation of the earth each special position to determine the season. Given in the figure is the "solstice" and "equinox", the sun directly above the equator, the equinox; the sun directly above the Tropic of Capricorn, the solstice. When the sun is directly above the Tropic of Cancer, it is the summer solstice; when it is directly above the Tropic of Cancer, it is the winter solstice. Together with the direction of the Earth's movement in its orbit, the seasons are easy to determine. The diagram below.

Looking at the question again, comparing the diagram given in the question with the diagram below, we can see that point D is the vernal equinox and point A is the summer solstice.

Then comes the judgment of the solar terms. The 24 solar terms and their order must be memorized. For example, the following "twenty-four solar terms song":

"(Li) spring rain (water) startling (hibernation) spring (equinox) clear (Ming) valley (rain) days,

(Li) summer (small) full of mango (seeding) summer (solstice) summer connected (refers to the small summer and summer heat);

(Li) autumn at the (summer) (white) dew autumn (Summer) (White) Dew Autumn (Equinox) Cold (Dew) Frost,

(Li) Winter (Little) Snow (Big) Snow Winter (Solstice) Little (Cold) Big Cold."

Each of the four stanzas represents a season, each with six seasons, starting with "Li Chun", "Li Xia", "Li Qiu", and " Winter", to the end of the corresponding season. The four seasons associated with the four special positions of the Earth's rotation, such as the second equinox and the second solstice, are located in the middle of the four sentences, making them easy to remember.

During the Earth's movement from point D to point A, the point of direct sunlight gradually shifts northward from the equator to the Tropic of Cancer, and the seasons in the Northern Hemisphere change from spring to summer, from mid-to-late March to mid-to-late June.

During this period, there are the following five solar terms: Qingming, April 4-6; Guyu, April 19-21; Lixia, May 5-7; Xiaoman, May 20-22; and Mangseo, June 5-7.

Folk festivals and activities related to the above festivals include the Qingming Festival and the Dragon Boat Festival, which are celebrated on the fifth day of the fourth month of the solar calendar (about fifteen days after the vernal equinox) and on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, respectively.

The main folk activities of the Qingming Festival include ancestor worship, grave sweeping, trekking and kite flying.

The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as the Duan Yang Festival, is characterized by the following main folk activities: eating zongzi, dragon boat races, and so on.

Choices can be made from the given options.
