"Traditional (indigenous) Chinese geography" is a different type of geographic system of thinking as opposed to Western geography. This set of geography that took place in China's local area, influenced Chinese culture for thousands of years, and dealt with the construction of China's cities, gardens, and countryside and forest residential environments, is a completely different thinking system from Western geography. Some geographers in the West even say, "Without understanding Chinese feng shui, it is difficult to say that one truly understands Chinese culture.

"Just as medicine has been established on the basis of anatomy, cytology, Western medical system, there is another type of Chinese medicine system based on the doctrine of yin and yang, five elements. Chinese medicine is also known as "traditional hospital" in China. Therefore, China's local geography, also known as Chinese traditional geography, in the world has been called Chinese traditional geography: "I Ching" geography. Nowadays, when Chinese culture is going to the world, I have a wish: to offer this course in the geography department of Chinese universities, the human sociology department of China, the department of construction, urban planning, and landscape tourism planning.
