1. reduction

2. Fixation method

Plastic splint or paper splint can be used to fix the wrist joint slightly straight on the ruler, with the thumb in the palm position; Or fix the wrist joint in the neutral position with a back extension of 30 with a short-arm plaster cast, with the foot offset 10, the thumb facing the palm and the forearm.

3. Polisel's therapy

Generally, the tubercle fracture can heal in about 6 weeks, and the fracture healing time in other parts is 3-6 months, or even longer. X-rays should be taken regularly. If the fracture is still not healed, it must be tested, and the external fixation can be lifted only after X-ray film confirms the fracture line. Old fractures and nonunion can be treated by surgery.

Step 4 practice

Functional activities of thumb, elbow joint and shoulder joint should be carried out during fixation, and wrist joint activities should be strengthened after external fixation is lifted.
